Situated just off Times Square in New York on 44th Street, the Hudson Theatre originally opened on October 19, 1903 with a production of Cousin Kate starring Ethel Barrymore. Built by Henry B. Harris, a famous Broadway producer of that period, the Hudson Theatre is one of New York City’s oldest Broadway showplaces. The 100-foot long lobby was the largest ever seen on Broadway at that time. On September 27, 1956 the first nationwide broadcast of “The Tonight Show” starring Steve Allen originated from the Hudson Theatre. It was granted landmark status for both its internal and external features in 1987.
I saw "Maybe Happy Ending." It's was an excellent play about whether helperbots are capable of love. Very intriguing stage play. It was the title that piqued my interest. The cast is amazing but I don't want to give the show away. It's totally worth seeing this musical. The theater has ample stalls for women but there's always still a line, but it goes quickly because there's an entrance on each end.

The theater itself is beautiful, and on-stage seating option is wonderful; but the security guards did a poor job when I was recently attending a show which made for a lot more chaos and frustration all around.

The show was Amazing, Mariska Hargitay was phenomenal. The theater was very nice comfortable seats. My problem is there was not 1 nice person or staff member that I tried talking to. I found them very rude, from the Black guy outside on the street telling my wife you dont like the heat you shouldn't have come so early, " deal with it". Inside one of the girls told my wife to put away her phone or get out of the theater, after another 20 seconds earlier said start wrapping up you last pictures and videos.

Great historic place. Small seats, no leg room in balcony. Very steep with lots of steps. But, the show was worth it.

Great play with Mariska Hargitay. She was excellent! Gorgeous, cozy theatre, generous seats, lots of merch, great bar. Easy access on 44th Street. Right near Sardi's!
