  I recently visited the Hudson Theatre for the first time to see Every Brilliant Thing with Tracee Ellis Ross, and I had a great experience from start to finish. The theater was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and accessible, with nearby parking and clean restrooms. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone, from the team greeting guests and checking tickets to the staff inside the theater, was friendly, helpful, and professional. They were also very clear about theater rules and made sure there were no disruptions during the performance, which I appreciated. There’s a bar for cocktails and snacks, as well as a merchandise area. I purchased an early-access pass for a reasonable price, which allowed me to enter before the general line. They also offer an upgraded VIP experience with early entry, a private lounge, private restrooms, and cocktails before the show. The seats were comfortable, the entire experience was organized, and I would absolutely return to the Hudson Theatre for another show. Highly recommend!

  What an amazing old school theater. Many parts of the building are still intact. If you can do the Hudson theater tour it’s well worth it. Also saw a show here (Every Brilliant Thing” and the bathrooms are amazing(probably since it was woman owned for so long. Also the chairs were the most comfortable style

  Well laid out theater. My seat was 108, Row D in the balcony, and my view was fine. I would definitely attend future shows in this theater.

Making her stunning Broadway debut, Golden Globe winner Tracee Ellis Ross brings her unmatched, sharp-witted comedic timing to the stage, proving herself a master of improvisation. While the narrative follows a daughter coping with her mother’s chronic depression by compiling a list of life's wonders, Ross effortlessly maneuvers the room, turning unsuspecting theatergoers into vital scene partners. Her comedic brilliance shines brightest when she recruits audience members to play her emotionally distant Dad and her supportive fiancé, bouncing off their impromptu lines with lightning-fast, affectionate banter. When I was lucky enough to be chosed to read out list item "992: Knowing to jangle keys if you want the otters to come out," the Hudson’s excellent acoustics and close-knit seating configuration ensure the moment feels deeply personal yet shared by all. Combining Ross's radiant humor with the timeless charm of the Hudson Theatre results in an unforgettable, deeply moving night of theatrical magic.

  I had such a meaningful experience at the Hudson Theatre seeing Every Brilliant Thing. The theater itself is beautiful and full of history. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the charm of this historic Broadway venue. The intimate atmosphere makes the experience feel personal and creates a wonderful connection between the performer and the audience. The show truly stayed with me. Every Brilliant Thing is funny, honest, and deeply moving. It approaches such a delicate topic with warmth, compassion, and so much humanity. After the performance, we found ourselves having deep and meaningful conversations at home, which is a rare and special gift from a theater experience. Tracee Ellis Ross was incredible. Her ability to connect with the audience and make everyone feel part of the story was one of the highlights of the evening. Our seats were a little farther back, and I would have loved to be closer to experience those moments even more, but her performance was powerful and engaging from anywhere in the theater. The Hudson Theatre was the perfect setting for this production. It was more than just a Broadway show, it was an experience that stayed with us long after the curtain closed. I would highly recommend seeing Every Brilliant Thing and spending an evening in this beautiful historic theater.
