  Great performance, getting in and out of the theatre was efficient and ushers and bar staff were friendly. Gave up on using the restroom during intermission because the line looped around the second floor of the theater (and bathroom is in the basement!). Security staff are rude and unprofessional.

  A great night on Broadway! 🎭 Caught The Book of Mormon at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre in New York City, and what a show! Hilarious, irreverent, and full of energy, it’s a reminder of what makes live theater such a unique experience. The performances, music, and comedy make this one of Broadway’s standout productions.   Really nice little theater. It feels intimate and you're never far from the stage, with a good view from every seat. The seats aren't the comfiest, but at least you won't miss anything. The refreshments are overpriced, so bringing your own snacks and drinks is a good idea if you can. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. We saw The Book of Mormon in July 2026 and loved it. It was funny, well-produced, and hilariously inappropriate. 😄

  First and foremost, “The Book of Mormon” was an incredible show. I want to give much praise to the actors and production teams. However, my girlfriend and I were treated very poorly by the Eugene O’Neill Theatre ushers. At the end of the show, there were long lines for the men’s and women’s restrooms. She went first, while I held all our belongings. After she came back, I attempted to go. An usher yelled at me when I was halfway down the stairs to the bathroom “Bathroom is closed!” I came back up, and calmly explained to him that there had been a line at the women’s restroom, and that I would go really quick. He then replied “I do not care, it is time for you to go. It is already clean.” What professional establishment closes the bathrooms before all the guests have departed? And I said “we paid $270 each for seats, this is how you treat your customers?” To which he replied “not my problem. Time for you all to go.” Another usher then told me there was another bathroom outside the main doors, and then pointed to the neighboring bar. Everyone knows in Manhattan that there are no free restrooms anywhere. He also just told me whatever he needed to say to get us out. The theatre itself was very beautiful, but this experience absolutely ruined it all. These two individuals need training on how to be ushers, not county jail correctional officers. Do yourself a favor and see this show somewhere else.

  This rating is not for the actors in the show (Book of Mormon). Every single one was 10/10, amazing! This review is for the venue. First, the security outside was horrible. It was raining and they were yelling at people, "the faster you people get through here, the less of the show you're going to miss" (and we weren't even late!). The two security people working (standing up) outside before the 2pm show on 9/27 clearly really did not like their jobs bc the smaller security guy was shouting things like "yes, I work here and you need to listen to me!" Both of the security outside were mean spirited and yelling at the people in line, to the point of making fun of people. It was gross. I wouldn't go see another show at this theater.
