  If I could give u negative 10 stars I would I booked with this place over a month in advance Spider-Man for my 2 year olds birthday Someone to come as the amazing Spider-Man and play games w the kids and would blow my sons mind. All the kids invited were excited to see Spider-Man. We decorated the day prior. And we’re getting everything set up for an easy party day The event set for 1-3 the next day I get a random text from a person who says they won’t b able to make it. Sometime after 1 pm Less than 24 hours before our event I didn’t even realize. I call to check if Spider-Man is on bc I never got a call back or confirmation of much other than a confirmation of deposit email w no amount listed… then a call from the company saying Spider-Man would b there. And did I have a preference of what games he played w the kids. I said oh no any games. I bet he knows what games the kids respond to anyway. Anyway so I call and the operator says that Spider-Man texted he and he can’t make it. It will b 5-7 business days for my refund… Over a week later. Still no refund. So I call and again an operator says they will check on my refund. Wait another 1-3 days. The bounce house rental was sending event reminder emails calls etc. Spider-Man ghosted us for the event . Nowhere could we find a Spider-Man character made all the calls. The only costume of Spider-Man we could get overnight delivery from Amazon was an adult medium. Man Amazon was on point with that tho. Auntie Emma ended up dressing as Spider-Man as our backup option.

  Despite taking long to send payment on my end & just a 2 week deadline to get us 40 actors, the team not only delivered, but knocked it out of the park! Extremely impressive communication & the director who “Characters for Hire” supplied, Mike, was so passionate & so hands on that he made my job 10x easier. Couldn’t recommend “Characters for Hire” enough! Will use them every time! c/o Jovian
