  A small and cozy theatre. The theatre is perfect for watching a show, no bad seat in the house. The acoustics are excellent! We really enjoyed Paranormal Activity at this theatre. The seats were very comfortable, plenty of room between you and the next row. The sight lines were great, great view of the stage from your seat.

  This was my first time at this theater! I FELL in love with the way it looks. It has an old feel to it, which is great. The staff was friendly. I went to see Paranormal Activity, and it did NOT disappoint. If you're a horror fan like me, I encourage you to go. They allow you to buy food while you're sitting watching your show. It's amazing because the bar code is in front of your seat. The only thing is that it does feel like people are a little too close to me for my comfort, so that is not good for my anxiety at all. I would have preferred if the two people next to me weren't touching my knees and so close to my ears.

  Great theater! The seats are comfy and the bathroom was huge, clean, and had lights above each stall to show if it was in use (red) or available (green). The play Paranormal was also the scariest thing I've seen in theater! Go see it!

  Мы были на шоу paranormal Activity. Само шоу просто супер. Но вы продаете ужасные билеты где не видно пол сцены на которой происходят действия и ты не можешь насладиться всеми эффектами. Не видишь полной картины. Кресла в театре скрипят проходы очень узкие. Не делайте моих ошибок берите билеты ближе к сцене.

  The “Broadway” audience is a different type of entity… rude, entitled, and completely unaware of personal space. (Yes, I’m talking to the girl who sat next to me in seat J3 during the 8/22 2:00 PM showing of Paranormal Activity in NYC — you’re rude and need some home training.) But that’s besides the point. I’m not an avid theatergoer. I’ve been to a few shows throughout my life, but after this experience, I can definitely understand why I don’t go more often. The seating at the August Wilson Theatre is absolutely HORRIBLE for anyone over about 5’8”. I’m 6’0”, and my knees were practically pressed against the seat in front of me. I spent nearly the entire two-hour show constantly readjusting myself just to find a remotely comfortable position. And mind you, I had an aisle seat — and I was STILL terribly uncomfortable. This has to be one of the worst theaters I’ve experienced when it comes to seating and legroom. The show itself is one thing, but being physically uncomfortable for two hours can really take away from the experience. If you’re taller than average, consider yourself warned.
