  Matt and Marie were absolutely amazing throughout our wedding planning process and executed a memorable reception night. Marie and Matt were supportive of our requests and attentive to our inquiries. They were always friendly and personable, ensuring an accepting experience throughout our interactions with them. Our guests spoke highly of our reception and truly enjoyed their experience on the dance floor; the crowd was always engaged and the music kept them going all night long.

  We cannot say enough amazing things about Soundwave and the entire team! We hired them for our DJ, photography, and videography services, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Matt, our photographer, was incredible at keeping us on schedule and making sure the day flowed seamlessly. Alex, our videographer, brought such great energy, constantly hyping us up and reminding us to soak in every beautiful moment. Steve, our DJ, kept the dance floor packed all night and made sure everyone had an unforgettable time. A special thank you to Marie, who helped us every step of the way. From creating timelines to answering every question we had throughout the planning process, she made everything feel easy and stress-free. The entire team went above and beyond, and we are so grateful they were part of our wedding day. We highly recommend Soundwave to anyone looking for talented professionals who truly care about making your day perfect!

  I booked SoundWave for my DJ, photo and video for my wedding on 7-11-26. Marie was our photographer and she was so wonderful to work with. From the first meeting I had with her, she was honest and understood what I wanted and worked with me to make it happen. On the wedding day she kept all the groomsmen in line and made us feel super comfortable when we were taking pictures! She was on the dance floor getting all the shots during the reception while dancing along and having a great time, she was a vibe! Matt was our DJ and he absolutely killed it with the music. We trusted him to read the crowd and play what he thought would fit well as well as some of our requests. The dance floor was packed all night long thanks to Matt! He was super easy to plan with and executed everything perfectly for our dances as well as at our ceremony. Sean was our videographer and was there all day capturing every fun and amazing moment! I can't wait to see the videos he took of our ceremony, speeches, as well as highlights from the dance floor. SoundWave also offered a discount for bundling all 3 of these services which was important to me. They are an amazing company and I am so glad they were a part of my husband and I's special day! You won't regret booking them!!

  What can I say other than this: call Marie and Matt today before they book up for your wedding date! My husband and I had an American-Cameroonian fusion of a wedding this past April, and both Marie and Matt dove right in with us to make our out-of-the-ordinary wedding plans an absolute dream. Besides providing absolutely beautiful photos and video (a big thank you to Sean as well with video!), Marie also went above and beyond to make sure the day ran seamlessly and kept us on track when necessary. She literally helped me into and out of my two wedding dresses herself- twice! Before and even after the wedding, she was always easily available to call or text with questions, help with ideas, or really anything I needed. Our photo package included an engagement photo shoot, which was tricky to coordinate because we live 4 hours out-of-town, but Marie worked with us to schedule a weekend day in the fall (busy season!) for the shoot so that we could make it. I had so much fun planning and experiencing our wedding day and wouldn't choose anyone else but Marie to be there through the whole process with us! Matt was just as amazing as our DJ. We had a very unique and diverse group of guests, and we weren't sure how switching between American classics, Millennial throwbacks, Afrobeats, and traditional Cameroonian music would flow throughout the reception. But Matt did it flawlessly, blending every genre that we wanted represented into a cohesive night of music and dancing. In addition to the reception music being spot-on, he also led our reception timeline perfectly. We had several things on the timeline that are not typical aspects of the dinner hour/reception- outfit changes, a traditional dance with a second grand entrance, and very specific traditional Cameroonian music choices (some that were not as easy as searching on Spotify to find). He was excited to work with our choices and vision, and he did a phenomenal job! Can't thank Soundwave DJ and Photo enough for making our wedding day perfect! I would choose Marie and Matt again and again!
