- YRYolanda RodriguezApr 20, 20261.0We went to see live music here this past Saturday. The band High Octane was great. It's one of our favorites. This location, however, is not. The bartender Alex was very rude. The resort advertises $5 premium drinks. We went to the bar and ordered a vodka soda and a whisky diet. The bartender said it was $22. We then said we thought they were $5 each. He said that the special was only for 1 oz. drinks and specific brands. He never even asked us what brand of liquor we wanted, let alone the size. We never specified a brand of liquor. He rudely replied by saying, "I can't read your mind, " after we questioned the price. He then remade the drinks in order for us to take advantage of the promotion. Honestly, if we weren't there to see the band, we would've just left. We usually drink several drinks when we go out, but we just had the one, watched the band, and left. A promotions purpose is to get people into the bar and after this experience, it made us just want to leave, and never return.
