  Kyle was absolutely fantastic as the DJ for the wedding I recently attended. From the moment the reception started, he kept the energy up and the dance floor full all night long. His music selection was the perfect mix for guests of all ages, and he did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. He was professional, organized, and helped the entire evening flow smoothly. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a fun and memorable experience. The lighting and sound were also excellent and really added to the atmosphere. I’ve been to a lot of weddings, and Kyle truly stood out as one of the best DJs I’ve seen. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and reliable wedding DJ!

  Active DJ Entertainment absolutely exceeded our expectations. Early in the planning process when I was meeting with wedding planners, every single one told me that Active Entertainment was the best choice we could make, and they were completely right. They handled both the sound for our ceremony at Airlie Gardens and the music for our reception at Bluewater Waterfront Grill, and everything was seamless from start to finish. They even accommodated a friend of ours who played piano during the ceremony. Martin was our reception DJ, and he did an incredible job taking the time to truly understand our music taste, preferences, and overall vision for the night. We wanted the music to feel like a high-energy concert and he executed it perfectly. The dance floor was packed all night, and the transitions and pacing were electric. At Martin’s recommendation, we also added the live saxophone, which was one of the best decisions ever. It brought amazing live energy to the reception and elevated the whole experience. Multiple guests told us it was the best music they had ever experienced at a wedding, and everyone had an incredible time all night long. We are so grateful to Martin and the entire Active DJ Entertainment team for helping make our wedding feel so special, memorable, and soooo much fun.

  We used Active Entertainment for our DJ and photobooth for our Wrightsville Beach wedding, and let me tell you, I couldn't be more pleased with this team. I was a bride who was *very* opinionated on the dance floor and wanting to keep the party vibe going all night long. Kramer was our DJ and he simply could not have done a better job if he tried. The team was fantastic in making sure audio was great during the ceremony, had good vibes flowing during cocktail hour, made speeches go off without a hitch, and made the dance floor the place to be. Leading up to the wedding, the online form and dashboard were so easy to manage and navigate. I got to add must play songs, non-plays, fill out what songs should play when during ceremony, and every little detail. Kramer was so detail-oriented and made me feel very calm in the weeks leading up to our wedding. We booked the photobooth somewhat last second on a whim and it was a HIT. So reasonably priced and our guests were obsessed. The photos came out better than expected and the props were awesome. I couldn't recommend Active Entertainment and Kramer enough.

  We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding than Kyle Steele. He was very professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. He took the time to understand our music preference, the vibe we wanted, and even incorporated some Vietnamese music for my side of the family to enjoy. Kyle made everything seamless. The sound quality was perfect and the transitions between songs were smooth. Kyle did an incredible job with reading the crowd and keeping the guests of all ages engaged and dancing! So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and we truly believe Kyle made a huge difference in how fun and memorable the night was. We would absolutely recommend Kyle and Active Entertainment to anyone looking for a talented DJ!

  I cannot recommend Active Entertainment and Martin enough! From the very beginning of wedding planning, I told my planner that one of our top priorities was for our wedding to feel like the biggest and best party of our lives—and she immediately recommended Martin. I am so grateful she did! From the start, Martin was incredibly communicative and easy to work with. During our initial call, he took the time to understand our music preferences, walk us through the different package options, and explain what to expect if we chose to book him. A few weeks before the wedding, we had a very thorough planning call where he walked through every detail—from pre-ceremony music to our final song of the night, including the specific timing down to the exact second of important songs. Music selection can feel overwhelming, but Martin made the entire process seamless. I loved that I could share our general style and must-play songs, and trust him to handle the rest—including reading the crowd and keeping the energy up all night. Not having to micromanage every detail was such a relief. It’s been almost 4.5 months since our wedding, and we are still hearing from guests that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever attended. One comment that has stuck with us was: “I’ve never been to a wedding where the dance floor was packed from the start of the reception to the very end.” That was exactly our goal and it wouldn't have been possible without Martin!! He is professional, has an amazing personality that keeps the room engaged, and is genuinely fun to work with. I highly recommend the “All the Lights” package—the setup is beautiful and blends seamlessly with wedding décor without ever feeling out of place. And the CO2 cannon was an absolute highlight of the night!!!
