Our family had a short visit to NC and stopped in 5/11/26 (1pm-4pm). Staff was nice and helpful. There was one young man in particular that helped tremendously throughout our 3 hour visit but I cannot remember his name 😫 he was everywhere doing so many different things, very personable and happy to help! Our girls had the best time!

I remember when it first opened it was sooo fun and every machine worked. More recent visits there’s ALWAYS at least multiple games that don’t work and just steal your points completely and if you actually want to use the machines and not have to wait a while definitely go on a weekday. Even with some machines not working it’s still definitely an enjoyable place, I haven’t tried out the bowling yet so I’ll come back eventually. I love their drink options as someone who likes to always try something new and crazy

My kids and I decided to visit MainEvent to participate in the Kids Bowl Free Program and it was a great experience. Jeremiah was awesome and helped us to get checked in and get familiar with the alley. He also offered to help my son to get more comfortable and confident with bowling. His kindness made the experience even better than expected! The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed the colorful lighting on the alley. We were only able to stay for an hour this visit but plan to return in the future!

I recently hosted my child’s 13th birthday party at Main Event Fayetteville, and unfortunately, the experience did not match what was promised—especially for the price. Our final bill was around $550 for 10 guests, including bowling, laser tag, and a private party room. To put that in perspective, booking those same activities online would have cost significantly less (around $250 with food add-ons like pizza and ice cream). I expected the higher price to come with a smoother, more premium experience—but that wasn’t the case. During the initial tour, I was told we would have access to the entire VIP bowling area. However, when we arrived, other guests were already using the space. Staff told me I must have misunderstood, even though the manager acknowledged what I had been told and said he’d “work something out”—but then disappeared and never followed up. The organization of the party itself was also lacking. Our “dedicated party host” was barely present, and no one helped the kids get set up with names on the bowling screens, which delayed everything. At one point, staff realized halfway through that the kids didn’t even have bowling shoes—something no one had explained or assisted with. We were also told we could arrive 15 minutes early to decorate, but when we showed up, the room wasn’t even cleaned yet. On top of that, their “free invitations” required signing up for a trial and entering credit card info just to access or save them, which felt misleading. To finish it off, the payment process was incredibly awkward—I was taken to a back kitchen area and asked to settle the bill next to a container full of discarded drinks. Overall, this was a frustrating and overpriced experience. If you’re considering hosting a party here, I’d strongly recommend skipping the “party package” and just booking bowling ($80 for 2 standard lanes or $96 for the VIP lanes - a $16 difference and not the $50 that I paid in my party contract) or laser tag ($80 for 10 guests) separately. It’s not worth the added cost or hassle. 2 stars simply because my child still had fun despite everything that happened.

I rarely leave reviews, but after this experience, I feel obligated to warn others before they spend their hard-earned money here, especially if you’re considering booking a birthday, celebration, corporate outing, or any type of VIP event. My group and I booked a VIP experience for Saturday night and arrived on time expecting the elevated service and accommodations that were advertised and paid for. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, everything went downhill. Our VIP room was not ready when we arrived, leaving our group standing around waiting despite having a confirmed reservation. For a venue that markets premium experiences, this was the first major red flag. Things only got worse from there. We quickly realized the venue was severely understaffed, and instead of management stepping in to fix the issue, we were told that if we wanted food and drinks, members of our own party would need to leave our private VIP room and go wait at the public bar themselves to place orders. Let that sink in, we paid extra for a VIP experience, yet we were forced to do the work ourselves because the venue was not properly staffed or prepared. Half of our group had to stay behind while the other half spent valuable time waiting at the bar, which completely disrupted the experience. To make matters even more frustrating, we did not receive our game cards until nearly an hour and a half after our reservation started because staff allegedly “couldn’t find them.” This was unacceptable considering a large portion of what we paid for included access to games and entertainment. By the time the cards were finally provided, a significant portion of our reservation had already been wasted. What made this experience even worse was the lack of urgency, accountability, and professionalism from management. Rather than actively trying to resolve the issues, offering compensation, or showing any real concern for paying customers, the repeated response was simply that they were “understaffed.” That explanation may work internally, but as paying guests, that should never become our problem. Poor staffing, poor planning, and poor leadership should not ruin someone else’s event. This venue completely failed at delivering the experience they advertise. We paid premium pricing for what turned out to be disorganization, long delays, poor customer service, and management that appeared indifferent to the situation. If you’re planning a celebration and want your guests to actually enjoy themselves, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are far too many other venues that value their customers and can properly execute events without wasting your time and money. This was supposed to be a fun and memorable night for our group, but instead it became an expensive lesson in what happens when a business overpromises and severely underdelivers. I would absolutely not book here again. Food was good though!
