I saw several kids that really had fun looking at the tanks and others that really enjoyed hands-on activities. Lots of small tanks instead of just a few huge tanks, which worked great with kids.

It was one of the most interactive and educational museums we’ve been to, and there was something exciting around every corner. The museum offers so many hands on experiences. My children enjoyed building and creating, playing with musical instruments, exploring the water play area, and learning about different animals. They especially loved the frog and bird exhibits. Throughout the museum, there were knowledgeable staff members engaging with visitors. One staff member was holding a snake and allowed the kids to touch it, while another taught us how to play a fun laser-based puzzle game. There was also a LEGO area and an amazing maker space where kids could create projects using materials like cardboard, duct tape, and other supplies. It really encouraged creativity and problem-solving. We spent the entire day there, and my kids were entertained from start to finish. I enjoyed the experience just as much as they did. Discovery Place Science does a fantastic job of making learning fun and engaging for children of all ages. I highly recommend it to families visiting Charlotte!
