  Train your employees not to lie. I called to see if you got a product in, was told you did, drove 40 minutes for them to tell me it never came in and then proceeded to hand me another item I didn’t ask for and say “but we have this!” What is wrong with you all.

  I used to frequent this theater back in the day, but they had gone downhill so I joined AMC and got a membership a few years ago. A movie that wasn’t showing elsewhere at that time was playing, so we decided to give the theater another chance. I remembered the food being mediocre, so me and my husband brought snacks and were planning on just buying Icees. Sadly, they bag check now, and it was awkward. I showed the employee my snacks then I requested a refund. The employees sarcastically were saying byyyeee to us on the way out. What stakes do underpaid employees have in us bringing in snacks? It’s clearly a poor management decision. Guaranteed people are still finding ways to sneak in their treats! Also, in this economy? Crazy policy. Y’all are going to lose a lot of business.

  I am glad I came in there with a jacket and a sweater because baby yall have that AC on blast. I love y'all customer service and y'all customers because after the movie it gives me a chance to fine a community strangers to converse with and talk about the movie.

  Went here for the first time, really disappointed in what we walked in to. Got to our auditorium and was immediately met with the nasty smell of trash. Cans were full and hadn’t been emptied. Got to our seats, they were torn, cup holders had this nasty, white, scum looking stuff inside of it. There was leftover food in our seats as well. The auditorium itself smelled like vinegar and wet, dirty gym socks. We immediately requested a refund and walked out. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

  We ditched our local theater in SC a while back and have been coming to this theater an hour away because it has always been friendly and reasonable. I am not sure if they have had something change in the last couple months policy or management wise but we had completely abhorrent visit to see the new Spider-Man. We have always been able to bring drinks/food in from outside without question. We were even told we could by staff on several occasions prior and now it is an issue. My fiancés purse was searched as we entered. Staff advised because allegedly weapons were brought in. Seems like a reckless safety policy because if someone does bring a weapon in and intend to do harm, the kid checking tickets would be powerless to stop them. If you’re going to search people, why stop at bags? No one searched me or questioned my pocket knife clipped to my pocket in plain view. We will not be returning and looking for other theaters to frequent now. My fiancé was a Cinemark rewards member but she canceled it before the previews began. Two stars instead of one because past visits were nice.
