Founded by Ed Putney in 1971, the shop has been a destination for serious players and collectors for over fifty years. We operate by appointment only. Every guitar is stored in its case and original box — nothing hangs on a wall or sits under lights. When you arrive, we pull your instruments specifically for you, ensuring pristine condition every time. We carry respected makers like Gibson, Fender, Martin, Collings, and Kevin Ryan, among others. First was a beautiful Standard S2 sunburst, that I liked so much I bought another PRS six months later which was a less expensive SE hollow body piezo orange tiger smoke burst. Again a beautiful guitar. Wish the SE would come with the deluxe gig bag. Getting it in and out of the provided bag is difficult since the zipper does not fully open and there is not much padding. I ended up buying a Crossrock hard shell case (Amazon) for about the same price as a replacement gig bag. Another discovery worth mentioning is that the low E string would resonate/ring persistently on my SE using any of the provided setting on my Fender Mustang LT25 amp. Solved the problem with a custom setting using very low amount of base. Would recommend Eddie’s — fast shipping, reasonable prices, and good selection of guitars nicely set up.
