Eddie's Guitars is a boutique guitar shop based in St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in rare, custom, vintage, and heirloom-quality instruments. Founded by Ed Putney in 1971, the shop has been a destination for serious players and collectors for over fifty years. We operate by appointment only. Every guitar is stored in its case and original box — nothing hangs on a wall or sits under lights. When you arrive, we pull your instruments specifically for you, ensuring pristine condition every time. We carry respected makers like Gibson, Fender, Martin, Collings, and Kevin Ryan, among others. Please note: we do not offer repairs, setup, or restoration. Contact us through our website to schedule a visit.

- AWAZ Wrench2 days ago5.0I had my eye on this Tree of Life Gibson for a little while and when I spoke with Donny he helped put this guitar in my hands. He was very friendly and wanted to help make this happen. The guys over at Eddie's are second to none noticeable through their knowledge of the guitars as well as the selection of guitars to choose from! I'd definitely recommend Eddie's for your next purchase.
- DMDebate MeOct 6, 20261.0Good luck having any communication with them after you spend $10,000 on a guitar with a 9 month wait. Once they have your money they are gone!
- LALARRY ALDRICHSep 25, 20265.0Great place to purchase a guitar from. Excellent service.
- JTJoe TSep 8, 20265.0V easy transaction. Guitar in excellent condition. Price more than fair. Personable, polite, respectful, timely and very prompt
- GCGus CardenasSep 7, 20265.0Sadly, I live 1500 miles away from Eddies Guitars but they are by far my favorite and “go to” shop for exquisite acoustic and electric guitars. I have made quite a few purchases from the gentlemen at Eddie’s over the years and not only are the Instruments absolutely top-notch, but the personal service and interactions with everyone there are just fantastic!
