- SGSt. Louis GuideMay 11, 20263.0Theater #2 was clearly showing its age and in noticeable need of refurbishment. Many of the seats were worn out, with visible tears and general deterioration that made them uncomfortable and unappealing. It gave the impression that the theater had not been updated or properly maintained in quite some time, and the overall condition suggested that the seating was well past the point of needing replacement. The experience felt closer to what you might expect from a budget or discount “$1 show” theater rather than a standard, full-price cinema, which was somewhat disappointing. That said, not everything about the visit was negative. The movie itself was enjoyable and played without any issues, and the snacks were fresh and satisfying, which helped make up for some of the shortcomings of the seating and auditorium condition. While the core experience of watching the film was still good, the worn environment of Theater #2 detracted from what could have otherwise been a much more comfortable and enjoyable outing.

We bought 4 tickets (one was a senior discount), one popcorn, 3 sodas, and 2 candies and out total was ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100)!!! Don't you think that's a little ridiculous? Don't you think this is why movie theaters are losing business? We won't be back. That cost us the same as 2 bags of groceries. We all need to boycott these theaters until they and Hollywood lower their prices. Also, if you're going to charge prices like that, I want to use a clean restroom that doesn't reek of urine. Bathrooms were deplorable.
