  Best shop! We went to this shop with the intention of renting a violin for a weekend of wedding music. When we returned the violin, the owner said it’s free of charge and gave us his best wishes. We cannot believe how generous they are! Thank you!!

  I have been extremely impressed with Manchester Music from the very first moment I made contact. From the initial interaction, it was clear that the salesperson—who I believe is also the owner—genuinely cares about both the customers and the music community they serve. That level of care clearly extends to the entire staff. In a time when great customer service can feel rare, it’s obvious that this business goes above and beyond. They treat every customer like they truly matter, and you can tell they are working hard to earn and keep your trust. Yesterday really confirmed this for me. My son accidentally broke his cello—completely snapping the top section in half after falling on it. I expected the situation to be stressful or even frustrating, but instead, I was met with understanding and kindness. Not only did they handle the situation professionally, but they also helped put me at ease. I’ll never forget what he said: “Please tell your son not to worry about the cello, accidents happen.” That level of compassion meant a lot, especially in a situation where they had every right to be upset. Instead, they chose empathy—and went even further by completely replacing the cello. Absolutely amazing customer service. I can’t recommend Manchester Music highly enough.

  Absolutely the best, most honest, and reasonable luthier there is in the STL area. If you have any instrument issues from a student instrument to a highly collectible, professional instrument, this should be your first stop. Andrey is 100% trustworthy with any issues, please come here if there’s absolutely anything off with your instrument of any levels.
