Interesting, if small, exhibit on the history of the Dakota people. Starting before the arrival of Europeans and continuing through the dark chapters of colonization, there is just enough information to whet the appetite for learning more on one's own. You will need about an hour to absorb the exhibit. I thought the on-site shop would have a larger selection of local, native artists' work. It would also be nice if there was a small café on site where you could try some Dakota food. Maybe in the future?

Really neat place and well worth doing the self-guided tour. Interesting and sad history to learn about there.
