- SRScott RoeJun 22, 20261.0The place is closed and in a complete shambles, but yet it’s advertised as being open, and a vibrant, interesting destination. There is no indication of it being closed on any of the website. They classify it as being open because you can walk down the trail and read the signs. Waste of a 150 mile drive. Just make some kind of post on the official website as to what’s happened. There is no more funding, no staff, and everything is locked up and not maintained.

Took a walk here today and it was like walking in the irradiated ashes of my childhood, very strange experience and sad to see. Would love to see someone take a serious interest in it again.
