- ARAnastasia RedemannAug 8, 20261.0Don’t bother visiting— a poor representation of the Minnesota Historical Society. We drove 3.5 hours to visit to find the house locked and the phone number “not available”. The website site listed they would be open Fridays and Saturdays through August 22 except July 3rd and 4th. I called the History Center in St. Paul to wait on hold for 10 minutes to be told that the house is “closed for maintenance” this weekend. Nothing is noted on the website. Poor communication, poor customer service, poor representation of the historical society.
