5/8/26: I saw the movie "Michael" today. Great movie. It was my second time to watch it. I love the recliner chairs, easy to order tickets and food on their online site. I ordered a big Icee, chicken tenders and pretzel bites.
Downside: The icee was great, cool and refreshing. The chicken tenders were horrible: over fried, I couldn't eat over half of them(tenders were so tough), and you get 4 small pieces for $7.80 and pretzel bites were the same(over fried, no flavor and so salty) and received 8 bites for $6.20. I will order popcorn next time. Yuck!!!

It was all good until one of your employees decided to verbally abuse & disrespect a regular PAYING customer because they stood around and didn't want to do their job. Up yours. 👎

Can't buy food cause everything is broken and down for repairs and yet we can't bring food in or go get food from the stores in the mall. Sitting in the theater with no snacks (don't want candy) because of "policy" yeah that's when I stop supporting a business when they won't relax on rules when clearly all the money your making for the day is in ticket sales. Can say I am very disappointed and probably won't be back. Doesn't offer much options for snacks but can't bring anything in. Interesting, will stick to watching movies at home and not supporting businesses that don't bend rules. You probably won't support my opinion but why makes us buy your snacks when you can't even make them

Cinemark River Hills Mall was a pretty underwhelming experience. There’s essentially no customer service to speak of—it feels like a completely self-serve operation. You pick your seat, walk in, and that’s about it. No ticket checkers, no staff presence in the theater areas, and maybe one person behind the counter if you’re lucky. It honestly felt like the whole place was being run by two people total.
There didn’t seem to be any real supervision or management visible, which made the whole experience feel a bit disconnected and unattended. It’s not that anything was outright terrible—it just felt like nobody was really there.
If I’m being honest, I’d probably recommend waiting for Blu-ray or streaming instead. The only real advantage this place has going for it is that it’s the only theater around (at least that I’m aware of). If you do want to check it out, you might want to go sooner rather than later—I can’t imagine this setup being sustainable long-term, with that said if it was closed and you were able to walk in I’m sure it would be the same kind of experience.
