Came here with my 5th grade class for a Field Trip, it was so cool, (this was a more than a decade ago so my memory might be fuzzy and things might have changed) We started out in a barn with farming equipment and a professional explaining how everything worked to produse a product. We got to make paper by hand, see historic building on beautiful land and trails, and the "cook" in one of the old buildings was making a cut potato recipe in a boiling pot...it smelt SO good and on of my class mates had a sample and almost fell over. We visited the near by "bar" and my class mate whipped out a 100$ bill and said "give me your best" we all laughed. Learned about farming, and logging, and how rivers were used to send logs from one location to another with the tools and methods explained.

Plenty to do and see. Interpretors did a great job of explaining the logging operation a s logging camp life.
