Great information in the museum. Enjoyed the guided tour through the logging camp. Guide was excellent.

This is a fascinating place with living quarters similar to those the old loggers lived in, a store, a mess hall, the outhouse, the work horses, etc etc. I haven't toured the grounds in years, but have been here many times. I took my girl scout troop here years ago. Its a great place to visit. Logging is an important part of Min esotas history. The staff is very knowledgeable.

What a gem! Stopped here on a whim and it was great. The interpretive staff are super knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The exhibits are well cared for. The cloquet fire video was so incredibly well done.
For context, I am a middle aged man who just generally likes learning about things and this was so great. I spent about 1.5 hours here, you could easily spend less, or a lot more.

Very fun
Came here with my 5th grade class for a Field Trip, it was so cool, (this was a more than a decade ago so my memory might be fuzzy and things might have changed) We started out in a barn with farming equipment and a professional explaining how everything worked to produse a product. We got to make paper by hand, see historic building on beautiful land and trails, and the "cook" in one of the old buildings was making a cut potato recipe in a boiling pot...it smelt SO good and on of my class mates had a sample and almost fell over. We visited the near by "bar" and my class mate whipped out a 100$ bill and said "give me your best" we all laughed. Learned about farming, and logging, and how rivers were used to send logs from one location to another with the tools and methods explained.
