  A lot to do here. Fun for everyone. Animals are cool to see. Go to a cooking event if you can or be a part of the planting or harvest events.

  Don’t go!!!!! We drove an hour only to find the house is sealed up “for work”. No one said anything at the desk when we purchased our tickets after driving over an hour (with $3.69/gal gas). There were no signs, nothing on the website, etc. and there was no discount for 1/2 of the site closed up. Very authentic…black Chev pickup, paint trailers, out house, huge blue dumpsters, etc inside a 10’ high fence. Not the fun and interesting farm to visit as in the past. When I voiced my complaint I was just asked to “come back”🤬. Stunning. Don’t go! Don’t support!!! I even called the MNHS—again; did not care.🤬🤬

  We tried to go here last Saturday, and there was nothing on the website stating that there were practically no animals present at this time! Such a waste of time and money, I guess I should have called ahead to ask. One ox, 5 sheep and some chickens! I think we were there 20-30 minutes, our granddaughter was so bummed.

  What a wonderful step back in time! Very interesting, and there is something for everyone!! Great for the whole family! There were period dressed staff to guide and explain the processes of the farm. There was also a 3000 lb oxen named Blaze which was the highlight for me! Great experience!
