Voyage dans le passé lointain, moins 9 à moins 7 000 ans. Des gravures rupestres au milieu d'une paisible prairie, ancien lieu de vie des SIOUX. Imparable. Mais interdiction de les photographier. Je recommande. Merci. Bien cordialement. Mathieu FOURMEUX.

Very cool looking at all the petroglyphs. It is a walk out to see them. But they do provide golf cart service for people that can't do the walk. Although the walk was very informative with the prairie plants. Going barefoot was an honorable experience once you are there to help preserve them.

The history and petroglyphs themselves were quite amazing. The tour is helpful to better see the drawings since daylight makes it difficult.

Very interesting place. Ancient carvings on stone hill. Staff working this location were quite friendly and interactive. It is a beautiful and peaceful location. Having the praire field adds a great deal to the entire location. You can really get a sense of what it might have been like to be there thousands of years ago.

Visited July 24, 2026. Nice little spot of history. Surface rock with etchings made by Native American ancestors. The etchings that we saw are small scale, we didn't see anything on a grand scale, and they are difficult to see in the middle of the day. The best time see them is when the sun heads towards sunset, sometime in the afternoon and evening. The sunlight then highlights the art more readily. That's why the site is open evenings until 8:00pm in the summer months. There is a nice walking trail that circles the site, and along a road one can see an old wagon wheel trail in the tall grass (a sign marks the spot). There is also a buffalo rub site where they would scratch themselves, notice the smooth, shining rock.
