    This weekend, my family of 7 drove an hour to experience iPic for the first time. The ambiance was nice, and we were excited to enjoy the premium experience we paid for. However, there were several issues throughout the evening that made the experience disappointing. We purchased premium seats, which we later learned were supposed to include blankets, pillows, and complimentary popcorn. We only received blankets, and we ended up purchasing popcorn ourselves because the complimentary popcorn was never provided. We also ordered food, but after a long wait, the wrong order was delivered to our seats. After waiting again for the corrected order, the food finally arrived, but it was cold. In addition, we had to ask for napkins at least four times from different staff members before finally receiving one wrapped around our silverware when the food arrived. To add to the confusion, one member of our party received a bill containing someone else’s order and had to go to the front desk to have it corrected because the staff never came back to receive the bill for signature after already charged and paid for. In addition, two people wanted to pay with cash. They were told they could pay in cash. Once the bill was received, they were then told they did not have change if paid in cash. Overall, we enjoyed the movie itself, but unfortunately, we did not receive the premium experience we expected for the price paid, especially after driving an hour to visit this location.

    This was my first visit. Took my elderly mom to see the movie Michael. She had not had a "movie theater" experience in decades! She loved the reclining seats and the fact that a server came and took our order 😆. She is a finicky eater, but she loved the fish and chips - she did want more slaw tho! They only reason I will give it a 4 star is the meal costs are so high (my $11 fries were barely warm) and the tip was added automatically. Our server was great!

    This use to be our favorite theater… We would travel from Glenn Dale to IPIC for all of our movies… Over the last 1.5 yrs it has started to feel dated / old… Seats are wearing, some of the buttons on the tables to order food don’t work… I had a broken seat that wouldn’t recline, and it now smells like an old theater… At least deodorize the theaters… The servers for the most part are great… We just saw Michael here last week and afterwards we decided that this is no longer going to be our one and only theater until upgrades / improvements are made.

    The proverbial “if I could give zero stars I would” holds true for this theater. I have been going to IPIC for years and it is finally on the “never again” list. It has really gone down hill. There was nothing good or redeeming about our experience. Let’s start with the ludicrous check in process. You pre-purchase your tickets and they give you an Apple wallet pass. When you get off the elevator there is a clear path to the theaters with a person standing at a podium. However, don’t you dare go directly to this person. You need to go check in at the ticket booth so they can give you paper tickets. Then you go back to the podium to show them the paper tickets and go to your theater. It wouldn’t be that annoying if every single person didn’t do this unnecessary round trip. I watched six families lug their children up and back while standing there. Put up a sign. State this absurd process in the email. Next the service. They include a required 18% gratuity on the bill. For good reason. They would have gotten none if it was discretionary. We were in our seats fifteen minutes before the movie start. Nobody took our order until fifteen minutes into the movie. Food didn’t show up until two thirds of the way through the movie. Why spend several hundred dollars to take your kids to dinner and a movie if you don’t get dinner and a movie. The people two seats over never got their food. The check never came. I had to ask for the check after the lights were on and credits over. Super annoying when sitting there with three kids under 7. Now the food, barely edible is being generous. It tasted like every item had been submerged in a bucket of grease before, during, and after cooking. I now know what the penguins at an oil spill feel like. Horrible. For the price point service should be good, food decent, and experience frictionless. Ipic bethesda failed in all respects

    I had a really disappointing experience at iPic Theaters. For a place that markets itself as a luxury movie experience, this was far from it. From the moment we walked in, the theater itself had an unpleasant smell that never went away throughout the movie. It completely took away from what should have been an enjoyable experience. For a “premium” theater, cleanliness and atmosphere should be the bare minimum, and this missed the mark. The food was just as underwhelming. Given the pricing, I expected high-quality meals, but everything felt low quality and not worth the cost at all. It honestly felt like I paid a premium price for a subpar experience across the board. Overall, between the condition of the theater and the poor food quality, this did not live up to expectations whatsoever. For the price point, I expected a much better experience and left feeling like it wasn’t worth it. I won’t be returning.
