  Escape room was subpar. Definitely nothing like others I have been to but it was challenging. NO AC in the building on a 90°+ day. Had to keep waiting for the staff member to give us "hints", and one of the puzzles didn't have all of the coins needed to complete the room. Only got the "sign up for our site" discount for myself and not the kids... Only a few bucks so I didn't argue it but still... 🙄 I could've overlooked most of this but the biggest disappointment was the fact that we never received the picture at the end as promised by the young lady at the front - probably because her friends were waiting in the lobby. I'm a single, widowed mom and this would have been the only picture of me and the kids together during our vacation. I even emailed corporate and didn't get a response.

  As mentioned by another reviewer, the five star reviews for this are very surprising and I also wonder who is writing them. Reviews from 8 months ago mention air-conditioning being out and it was also out when we went. We did an escape room here as a family to celebrate an event on a rainy day. From the moment we walked into the business we could hear yelling and shrieking, laughing and screaming (we already had a paid reservation or I might have left then). I hoped the room would be better. The escape rooms are actually not discrete rooms because the walls between them don't go to the ceiling. Because of the noise from other rooms, especially the one next to us, we couldn't hear each other trying to read clues or talk to each other in our "room", or really think. It was so loud our children complained to us and it was really hard to focus on the game, which requires solving puzzles together. At the end we were taken to a green wall by an employee and told she'd take our picture. I've been to other escape rooms and have a nice momento in the photo and seen photos from this one online so I looked around and found the props we could use in drawers at the side of the area myself, while the staff member looked impatient and said nothing. My family thought I was being weird getting out the props to hold and were uncomfortable. But they never sent our family's picture anyway. I emailed them a couple of times to ask for it but got no reply. It wasn't a great experience so we don't really need a family photo of it, but the one I have with friends at another area escape room was nice. Overall, we were really disappointed with the hour-long experience, especially since this is an expensive activity that was supposed to be a highlight of a weekend. Avoid this place as you'll be at the mercy of other guests and how much noise they're making as you try to complete your room. The staff had to raise voices to talk but seemed to pretend we weren't in the middle of yelling all around. At another escape room I was taken to a nicely decorated room where you feel you're trapped alone with your group for the hour and can't hear the outside world. This one was more like being in an office booth as adjacent parties and groups shout while you try to read things! Terrible. I will add, the person at the front desk - I think Nathalie - was lovely and friendly. I had called to ask a question about a child's age before making the booking a couple of days earlier and someone returned my voicemail promptly and was very helpful and welcoming. They have at least one wonderful staff member. But the experience itself I wouldn't repeat. And the business didn't reply to my two emails after the visit requesting our family photo. No big deal as it wasn't a great family experience. But I'd recommend taking your own photo or asking to if you want to be sure to have a picture of your group. But really just go to another in the area.
