  Was very excited to try this place but the only excellent thing was the service. The water for the tea was lukewarm — not warm and definitely not hot — when it was served to me and on the refill. The scones are bite-size and you can fit an entire scone in your mouth easily at once. They do give you two scones, but I have never seen such a small scone in my entire life. This was very disappointing for a place like The Four Seasons and what they charge. In addition, the scones were not warm at all, which wasn’t surprising because the water wasn’t hot. Lastly, I believe the tea was in a bag and not loose leaf. Would be nice if they offered loose leaf tea with hot water since you have to wait for it to steep. On the plus, the teapots are pretty, sandwiches were good, and they include champagne and liqueur. I don’t like alcohol but it’s a nice touch if you do.

  Erika and Maggie and their service and knowledge was as good if not better than some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. We had to go back the next night to try more of their drinks. Run to get the verde verde. It’s magic.

  Yes it is pricy, but this not an everyday place, it is an experience. Came here for a celebration and we were very satisfied with the tea options. Besides tea you also get champagne. The tower has so many deserts but you can take it to go if you cannot finish them.

  Went for afternoon tea and felt very taken care of! The tea was amazing and came paired with a liquor. They accommodate vegetarians so make sure you include that in your reservation.

  Good, but not the best. I've been here 3x for special occasions, and their food Tower changes I think seasonally.They don't offer more than what's on the tower. And their seating is informal, and very comfortable. Their teacups are the cutest! and comes with rock candy on a stick, paired with side of liquor to spike the tea. Definitely the most expensive HT experience I've had. If you don't like spiked tea, I'd go with the Courtyard tearoom at the library, which offers more food on menu separate from the tower (i.e soup, salad), formal seating, ect.
