Great location, beautiful architecture, and a wonderful ambiance! This theater is a masterpiece. The seating layout is excellent, ensuring a perfect, unobstructed view of the stage from any seat. Bonus: plenty of cheap public parking nearby at the City Place lot.

The venue is very very nice, but the prize when I was there was the concert itself. I was there to see Luka Sulic, the Slovenian cellist, and he is absolutely brilliant.

Beautiful place, but the seats are torture devices. My boyfriend and I are both short and our legs were squished and the chairs hurt so bad!! Made the play we saw not that great.

A fantastic theatrical space. Wonderful acoustics and a feast for the eyes. The venues are top notch. Concessions offer water and unique mixed drinks that you can take in to the theater with you. HOWEVER there are significant drawbacks. There are 60 stairs to the upper balcony with no elevators. There isn't any on-site parking (although it's across from a MBTA stop) and it's expensive. Lastly the seats were made for people at least a 100 years ago. There was barely room for my legs and I can't imagine anyone over 5'3" being comfortable. You pretty much have to empty the row to let people in and out. I don't see the theater renovating to accommodate taller/larger patrons in that it decreases the overall number of seats which in turn will drive up ticket prices. I also don't understand why there are expensive per ticket processing fees.
