About the Buddy Guy 90 Tour the night of August 25, 2026:
DK Harrell opened with an incredible display of talent, creativity, energy and originality. What an amazing artist! We bought his 2 CDs right after the show. To me, he was the true star of this concert.
About Buddy Guy: He needs no introduction, at his age, he is still able to sing just as good and play whatever he wants with his guitar. He is a living legend of the Blues.
About his performance: It was very disappointing, not because of lack of talent or skills but because of his filthy mouth and his lack of respect for the audience and particularly for women.
The minute he got on the stage it looked like he was very limited in vocabulary because all he did was use foul language every 3 words out of 5!
We saw a lot of people leaving, he was supposed to be the big star, what everyone was waiting for, and many people left because of what was coming out of his mouth every time he interacted with the audience.
He showed evidence of the little respect he has for women. He sees women as objects for pleasure bordering the edge of misogyny.
I cannot say I know all the lyrics of his songs, I was not even born when he was already a star, but for what I've heard so far, he doesn't have anything good to say about women. Shame.
It was a very disappointing experience. Specially after DK Harrell got the whole audience going and ready for Buddy Guy.
