Beautiful theater, could be hard to navigate without direction from workers. Can’t comment on the facilities though, the lines were insane. The seats are a bit tight on the knee room so we had to constantly get up for people so they could walk out of the row without falling over from how tight it was. If you’re a frequent get upper I’d get a seat in the edge for quick out access.

Have enjoyed our season tickets! Lovely historic venue with great acoustics. The bathroom situation is the only drawback.
Have enjoyed musicals, concerts, everything!

Don’t be disabled and expect any understanding, accommodation or assistance from the staff here. I am in a power wheelchair because I am a quadriplegic and arrived early for Book of Mormon today. First I was told to throw away a special cup I use to be able to grip my drinks despite trying to explain it to the officer at the door who was too busy yelling over top of me. Next, we received a program from the usher at Orchestra Left that would not assist us with our seats, that require the movement of removable seats. We tried to show our tickets to ask for help but we were just given programs. I am embarrassed and enraged. They have no idea of how to accommodate persons with disabilities.

Before Katrina I saw some great shows here and the interior of this place is amazing. They have a "magic" ceiling that used to transition from daytime with moving clouds to a star filled night sky! Currently the ceiling seems stuck on just the starry sky and I miss the daytime transition. Well here it is in 2026 and they completed renovations but somehow they still didn't fix everything like the ceiling. I've seen some great shows here like Morrissy, ZZ Top etc. There are many other Saenger Theatres located around the surrounding states I've also visited but so far the New Orleans location remains the most impressive one that I've seen so far. All Saenger Theatres seem to share a common trait of being beautiful places while the New Orleans one is the best of the best of all of the ones I've seen so far. The big downside is that the area of Canal that the Saenger is located definitely needs revitalization and economic development as its still a very shady area.

Went to see SIX and the theater was beautiful and the performers were amazing but the staff was extremely rude about my digital camera (which I understand aren't allowed and didn't know about until I got there and I do admit that it was my fault but I was not able to put it anywhere as my ride had already left) they stopped me at the entrance saying I couldn't bring it in and I would need to get out of line and do something with it. So I found an officer who was willing to hold it but when I got back to the front they made me put it in a bowl. After the amazing performance I went back to the entrance and asked about where I could go to find my camera, and the lady said the information desk but when we asked for clarification of where to find it (because there was no visible signs and it was crowded) she said that there were signs and that we just needed to look in a rude tone and when we finally found it the lady at that desk was also rude about giving it back. We were very polite and compliant but they were still very rude. I loved the show but the staff ruined my experience.
