  The staff, waterslides and clean bathrooms get the stars the rest we got to level with. It is $58 to get in $25 (it's a walk) or $35 (vip) for parking. So to get in for a family of four $257 plus tax. Food starts at $15 it's okay food. If I could go back I would pack a cooler and buy the vip parking for a closer walk instead. The sauce bar one working ketchup and mustard nothing else 6 empty press downs line full of people getting food. $70 Wave pool went off every 30 minutes we were there. Not worth the wait there 4 attractions were closed. Thing happen it's end of season. There are no family showers that I saw no stalls in showers so if you are solo parenting Fathers and daughter and moms with sons this trip it's gonna be rough to clean your kids and protect their innocent. So here's the level. Fix your shower situation make a family shower bathroom. Fix the wave pool. You get five stars I'm not going to demand the cost go down I will say that for the $300 and 6 hours of fun I could have done an overnight at Great Wolf Lodge.

  Incredible wave pool! My boyfriend and I went here during our Chicago trip; well worth the detour from the city if you’re visiting!! Lifeguards were super efficient and the lines were quick. We also really enjoyed the scenery with waterfalls, the pond and animatronics were super fun. Only complaint is that the tallest 3 slides were closed (the steep blue/yellow body slides). I feel like they should have prioritized those over some of the smaller attractions during staff shortage.

  Horrible sevice, barely any food option. Long lines on food low staff only one place to eat is open, although they have so many other food stalls but always closed. Yet the are overly strict on kids foods. And as for rides most of the thrill rides always closed or being closed during open hours. I don’t know if that’s just normal but this my 3rd times going this season and always tall rides are closed. Only this is working little kids rides, wave pool and lazy river and they claim Illinois largest water park. For the price and sevice they offer I wouldn’t suggest you waste your money here. Especially if you going as family or group. Parking cost $25 and $35+ entry fee and knowing not allowing any outside food gonna cost wasting your time on long food lines with barely anything good and your money. I would suggest drive 2 hours north to Wisconsin dells and experience real water park.Even hurricane harbor at six flag is better the. So called Raging waves. It’s in the middle of corn field with$25 parking and no restaurants near by. My last time at this place, I wouldn’t even go for free here, rather head to Indiana dunes.

  First Time at Raging Waves This was our first time going to Raging Waves, and we had such a great experience! The entire establishment was very clean, especially the bathrooms. They were actually clean and didn’t smell, which I really appreciated. The attractions were fun and well organized, and everything felt easy to navigate. And I have to mention the Dole ice cream…it was SO good! I’m honestly not a big ice cream person, but it tasted so fresh and delicious. The funnel cake was also really good. Overall, we had a great experience, and most importantly, my kid had a lot of fun too. We’ll definitely be back!

  "MILITARY & FIRST RESPONDERS" My family and I visited Raging Waves Waterpark on a Monday. Overall, the park was okay, and we were able to enjoy our time together. While there were things we liked, I wanted to share an experience with the ticket pricing that I think other guests—especially first responders and military families—should know about. I also want to recognize that Raging Waves advertises discounts for first responders and military members, which is a thoughtful gesture and something I genuinely appreciate. However, I do want to share my experience so others are aware. According to the website, the first responder and military discount is only available at the gate and cannot be purchased online. When we arrived, I asked about the discount, and the employee confirmed it was available. After the discount, my total came to just over $190. After completing my purchase, I discovered that if I had simply purchased our tickets online for the same Monday visit, the total would have been only $169.16, including tax—and that was without any first responder discount. I went back to the ticket counter to ask why the discounted gate price was actually higher than the regular online price. I was told that online prices are always cheaper than gate prices, and unfortunately there was nothing they could do. I understand that online pricing and gate pricing can be different, and I don't fault the employee, who was courteous throughout the interaction. My concern is that the advertised first responder and military discount can end up costing guests more than simply buying tickets online. I hope the park reviews this policy or at least makes the pricing difference clearer so first responders and military families can make an informed decision. For anyone planning a visit, I would recommend comparing prices before you go. In our experience, the online price was significantly lower than the gate price, even with the advertised discount. Also, purchase your parking online if possible, as it costs $25 at the gate. Lastly, be aware that the park is cashless and does not accept cash for purchases. Despite the pricing confusion, we still enjoyed our day at the park. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests and brings more value to the discounts offered to those who serve our communities and our country.
