  RE: Cinemark Theater 1001 W North Ave Melrose Park, IL 60160 May 14, 2026 @ 6:40PM The usher cleaning around Theater 4 for the 6:40PM showing of "Michael," and who also cleaned this same theater after the movie, needs to be acknowledged for his friendliness, great work ethic and attitude. Unfortunately, I did not get his name. He was african-american. He was about 20 years old and, to the best of my recollection, I believe he had dreadlocks as well. Medium to smaller frame perhaps? Anyways, he was so nice and so friendly. He opened the doors for me. He was cleaning and he was doing a nice job with that as well. He said, "thank you." He said things like, "I'm glad you enjoyed the movie." He came in after the movie as me and the ladies next to me were kind of dancing in our seats. He started dancing with us from a distance where he was standing too. He was just a lot of fun and so very friendly, warm & welcoming. I just wish all customer service agents were like him.

  Brought my son for his birthday today to watch the Michael movie, never been to this theater before this but it will definitely be my last. From the moment we pulled up they had the doors locked , our movie started at 10:30 am we got here at 10:10am. Eventually a girl opened the door , she was rude along with the girl at the concession stand. We ordered some popcorn and drinks and she didn’t give us straws so I had to call her and ask for some , she yelled from across the room “here’s some” and had my son go to her to get them. We get to our seats, they’re all ripped and old. Will never return here again. They need to hire new people that make you feel comfortable and welcomed not like you’re bothering them with your presence for showing up to the movie you paid for!

  When you see mice, what that means is that they are comfortable enough around humans that they have no fear. When you see mice in a movie theater, it means the place is filthy enough that there are plenty of mice that you don’t see. It’s impossible to sit comfortably through movies in a movie theatre with a mouse infestation. Zero stars, and never again.
