  The Crystal Jungle is THE DRINK to get here. Their signature drink the Pandan is just a margarita. Our waitress Abby was the perfect host, even helping guide us towards the next destinations on our Chicago bar crawl. Great views, good vibes, and the crispy pork buns were great.

  Spiders and cobwebs have completely taken over the pool deck. What’s worse, they’re right under the lighting, making them impossible to miss. Definitely needs a thorough cleaning.

  Pandan is one of Chicago’s best hidden gems! Their artisan cocktails are always 10/10, service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is chic & comfortable. Our go-to spot for a before or after dinner drink (and sometimes for dinner, too - the food is top tier as well!). A special thank you to our server Nour for accommodating our large party on a whim and helping us treat our out-of-town visitors an incredible evening - we hope to see you again soon!

  The staff here does not seem to understand what having customer service means. At the end of the night, our waitress refused to split the bill in a way that worked for our group (she did not ask at the start if we were on one tab or multiple, which we were). We ended up doing an even split, but she refused to print off our receipt after we accidentally skipped past on the screen, saying we should just take a photo of our friend's. It was obvious she was trying to hurry along our payment as quickly as possible and treated us more as an annoyance than as customers. When we approached her after paying, she immediately deferred to the manager, who said nothing could be done about future service (or it seemed would be done). This was all shared in a calm and steady tone, yet the manager then sent the bouncer to point us to the door. Also, it says Southeast Asian inspiration, yet the staff was mostly non-Asian. The drinks and food, too, often only included one or two SE Asian flavors that were often overpowered by the Western ingredients and spirits, leaving a lot to be desired for our mostly SE Asian group. For the price and quality of the hotel, our group definitely expected much better and was really upset by our experience.

  Absolutely wonderful place! I love the cozy rooftop vibe that has been amazing in both summery days and a rainy night in. I had a birthday party here recently, and the staff at Pandan were very accommodating for my group and super kind. The hostess Chi took such good care of me and my friends. She made sure to make this a special and relaxing night.
