  Our team at Mills Marketing recently hosted our company retreat at Curate, and we had an excellent experience. From the planning process through the event itself, the staff was professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. The food was delicious, the open and inviting atmosphere created a great environment for collaboration, and the service was outstanding throughout the day. The convenient location was an added bonus, making it easy for everyone to attend. We appreciate the excellent hospitality and would highly recommend Curate to anyone looking for a quality venue for a corporate meeting, retreat, or special event.

  We had our daughters wedding there last night. I cannot say enough about this venue! From planning to the actual event, they were attentive, professional and followed through with all of our requests!

  Jayme, I just wanted to reach out to you and tell you what an amazing job you and your staff did last weekend! You and Chris took our vision for the wedding and truly made it perfect! The tables, the room, the cocktail hour were all fantastic. The dual plated meal served to our guests was such a great option for a wedding and it was very delicious. We received lots of compliments on the food the next day. The bonus of having all of our table “things” waiting neatly for us the next morning was sure a blessing. Thank you again for making our day perfect! There were no surprises and no disappointments. Have a great rest of your wedding season!

  A beautiful venue that lacks customer service. I began working with Chris on a wedding date inquiry. At first he was diligent on his responses and setting up a venue tour. After meeting with him, and seeing all that Curate has to offer, my fiancé and I were sure this would be the perfect spot for our Fall 2020 wedding! Unfortunately I have still not heard back from Chris after a couple months of following up with him. Here’s a potential client wanting to secure a date and provide a deposit with a company that seems to pick and choose who they want to service. I’m assuming the date I was interested in was prioritized to service a political event. Thankfully Des Moines has many options with outstanding customers service! Highly recommend not wasting your time with this event space.
