  We were very disappointed by the pirate escape room. Compared to the many other escape rooms that we have done, this one reminded me more of an at home escape box rather than an actual room. First of all, the puzzle only included 1 poorly decorated room that looked like they just threw some stickers on the wall. The room didn't even have an enclosed ceiling so you could hear everyone talking in other rooms. Almost all of the puzzles were found on pieces of paper, rather than interactive objects. All of our previous escape room experiences have involved clues within the environment, while this had all clues on papers in locked boxes. You would use info on the papers to open poorly functioning locks that frequently stuck, so you were never sure if you had the right code. All that we did was open lock after lock. They provided a tablet to help us get hints, but the touchscreen barely worked. They didn't even provide a table, so we had to spread all of the papers out on the floor and constantly get up and down. Even though we escaped successfully, it was not enjoyable. We have done 14 escape rooms over the last two years and this was by far the most disappointing. Everything in this escape room could have been done as an at home escape box for a fraction of the price. To add to it, the staff took our photo at the end and said that she would email it to me, but she never did!

  My daughter selected this place for her birthday, they enjoyed it cause they are 14. There were few interesting things that happened that I as the paying parent did not appreciate. 1. Disorganized, little explaining on starting the room. 2. Guest were sitting when we arrived, the manager was speaking to them after we completed our waivers, the host led us over to the next step of explaining the locks. The manager said these guys were here first, as if he wasn't engaging in random conversation, the host suggested they can join us, as she's explaining the same thing. 3. The girls were excited when they unlocked each level and you could hear the giggles and excitement, the manager entered the room and asked them to be quiet... we are in a mall, in an escape room....it wasn't long or drawn out... 4. After they completed the puzzle we waited for a picture that they are supposed to take after, but they were overlooked and after waiting for 10 minutes..we left.

  My family and I went to the escape room and had a very challenging, but great time😂😂. The store manager Godwin was very pleasant and helpful. His personality is exactly what you want from someone that greets you as you enter an establishment. We definitely will visit again!

  We had such a great experience at the escape room, and Tyler was AMAZING! She was super friendly, helpful, and made the experience even more fun. She gave us just the right amount of guidance without giving anything away, and you could tell she genuinely wanted us to have a great time. Tyler definitely helped make our experience memorable, and we really appreciated her energy and customer service. We’ll definitely be back for another escape room! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  If I could give this escape room 0 stars I would. We did the black ops room and the hints were given to you via tablet by typing in a code. The hints were often one picture that would disappear in a few seconds. No one actually monitors your progress. The game master knew nothing about the room and when we asked for help for one of the puzzles she said “I’m actually not sure how to solve it. My boss said we’re not actually supposed to use the poster for it.” She then gave us the answer and we figured out how the poster correlated to the lock ourselves… waste of money and a waste of time. Not sure how there’s 4.9 stars for this place it’s a joke of an escape room. There was also no ceiling over the rooms so you can hear everyone else in the other rooms.
