Overall, we had an amazing time watching Harry Potter as a family! The actual movie experience was awesome, and I really hope they show the rest of the series. Unfortunately, when we arrived, no one was available to guide us, and most of the staff seemed to have a crabby attitude. When I bring my kids somewhere, I don’t want my daughter asking me why someone was mad at her simply because they were having a bad day. During the movie, one of the waitresses spilled water in the aisle above us, soaking both my daughter’s back and mine. We remained wet for the rest of the movie, which was uncomfortable because the theater was cold. However, the waitress was extremely apologetic, and we didn’t blame her because we understand that accidents happen. We brushed it off because we wanted to enjoy the movie. She later returned with a complimentary dessert and apologized again, which we really appreciated. Someone seated in a higher row saw what happened and how wet we were. They were kind enough to pay for our Harry Potter popcorn as well, which was incredibly thoughtful. On a side note, the popcorn was nothing like it was advertised. Much of it was soggy, chewy, and stale. Since it cost more than $20, it was a real letdown, and I wouldn’t order it again if we returned. Despite these issues, we had an amazing time and loved the movie experience!

Three stars because there is room for improvement although I had a great experience. Parking was not as challenging as I expected. Google Maps would be the better app to use to get to the right place for parking and the attendant at the gate tells you where to go. The email I received prior to the event said no bags were allowed unless they were small, so I carried my things only to see that bags are allowed but they may want to search them. So that was annoying because I could’ve brought a purse. It was freezing cold in the building so I’m glad I brought a blanket; several people were shivering. The food did take a while to come out, but not what I would consider a long wait, it was about 25 min. I ordered the spinach and crawfish dip which was delicious and hot, but the chips were almost stale. Still edible and I don’t like sending food back so it was fine. I got a free dessert and ordered the donuts which were yummy but had cooled off. The service overall was pretty good. My complaints would be that first when the server was delivering my spinach dip, she asked if anyone was sitting next to me, I said no. She then said but they put seat number 3 here and I said to her, it’s mine though, because I knew that the seat was empty because I paid for it and the person did not show up. I had to tell her at least 2-3 times the food was mine before she put it down. The second complaint is the pricing of the food and drinks is a bit overpriced. Not everything, but some things. I think it’s best to eat before you go unless you’re prepared to spend more. The ticket pricing was expensive as well but I was ok with it. For leaving the facility, make sure to get your parking validated at the desk in front of the escalators. It’s very easy and can be done before or after the experience. I would definitely go again. I had an amazing time. My seats were great. I was in the dome, level 2, box 1.

I was extremely disappointed with the service we received during the COSM “IT” movie experience. Our server, Layla, was sarcastic and rude throughout the evening. When we asked another server a simple question about the menu, Layla came over with an attitude and told us that she was our server and didn’t want there to be any confusion. She also refused to bring my friend her drink, even though she had already confirmed the drink order with us at the table. To make matters worse, she initially gave us a name that apparently wasn’t her real name. We later learned that her name was Layla. She then told us she needed to close out our check while she continued serving other guests, which made us feel rushed and singled out. The experience itself was enjoyable, but the poor service and unprofessional attitude put a damper on our night. I hope management addresses this so future guests receive more respectful and attentive service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mixed Experience — Amazing Concept, But Atlanta Needs Improvement I’ve been to The Cosm three times now and have seen Harry Potter, Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and The Matrix. Harry Potter and Willy Wonka were AMAZING! The visuals and immersive experience were incredible and showed me what The Cosm can really do. Unfortunately, The Matrix was a major disappointment. The graphics didn’t have the same wow factor, and I didn’t feel nearly as immersed as I did with the other two experiences. I’m hoping IT next month will be better. My biggest issue has been the food. The menu is limited compared to the Dallas and Los Angeles locations, and for the price of the tickets, I expect better. I was especially disappointed when I was told by customer service that I could order the Harry Potter themed menu when I arrived, only to find out it wasn’t available. On my later visits, the food was barely warm, the fries weren’t fresh, and my gelato during The Matrix was so melted it was basically a milkshake. I’m also disappointed that Atlanta doesn’t seem to have the themed photo props I’ve seen at the other locations for Harry Potter, Willy Wonka, and The Matrix. When we’re paying $50–$60+ per ticket plus fees, it’s frustrating to see other locations offering extras that Atlanta doesn’t have. Atlanta deserves the same experience as Dallas and Los Angeles. Customer service could also improve. Employees don’t always seem very helpful when directing guests to their seats, and during The Matrix, our seats were shifted one seat from what we originally purchased. I also had an issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom during that visit. Overall, I LOVE the concept and had two amazing experiences, so I know The Cosm can do better. I really hope to see improvements because I want this location to succeed.

Terrible experience in just about every way. Paying almost $200 for 4 people to go to the movies, no matter what kind of screen the movie is shown on, brings with it an expectation of a memorable experience. Cosm Atlanta was memorable but not for anything good. The movie was to start at 9am, they tell you to get there 30-35 minutes early for security. That's fair, no reason to rush through security, except they make you line-up outside and the line doesn't start moving until 840. Some women are allowed to bring in their bags, others are sent to put their bags back in their cars, no rhyme or reason behind these decisions as just about every woman with a bag had one bigger than the 5"x9" which they claim is allowable. This place has 3 floors, they validate parking. Only place to do that is on 2 readers near the exit, not well marked, and of course they have a line 50 people deep at the end of the movie. They are having a "Harry potter experience." first thing the server tells us is they are out of butter beer and almost all snacks, except for oddly flavored popcorn and nachos. My son orders nachos, 3 others in out party order popcorn. We all order water, he asks if we want bubbly, we say no, just water. He brings out one bottle of smart water and 3 tap waters in glasses. No one ordered a smart water, all we ordered was water. It made no sense that he brought one bottled water. After he dropped off the food we never saw him again until he brought the bill. He brought the bill in the middle of the movie! You have to pay it right them, while he's there, on his tiny little kiosk and they email you a receipt. I didn't look at the receipt until the movie ended because I didn't want to get my phone out to check my email DURING the MOVIE. Once I did check it they overcharged us by adding an additional smart water to our bill. When I tried to get them to fix it I was told that once I paid the bill was final. This place could have a lot of potential but the staff working there is so unbelievably incompetent and rude, there is absolutely no way I would ever even think about returning.
