  Having been to this specific Cinemark numerous times, for regular movies, 3d, and dbox, i was very excited to try out the 4DX screen with the new Mortal Kombat that came out this weekend! I often goto see movies on opening weekend, buying my tickets ahead of time so I can get my preferred seats, and while I have no issue with the fact that there will be people sitting next to me, and some noise is expected (i also partake in candy and make occasional comments to my friends, cant be upset when others do the same) i did have a horrible experience last night at my viewing of the R rated Mortal Kombat II and i likely will not be returning to any Cinemark theater with the way they operate In the R rated Mortal Kombat II, i had the unfortunate experience of sitting beside a family including their around 5-year old daughter. Not sure what cinema would allow a child into a film of this nature, and was very disappointed that the majority of the film was contesting with then consoling her during intense scenes, her playing games on a bright phone with the volume up, and walking back and forth in front of the side-view 4DX screens that i had to pay extra to enjoy to begin with While i appreciate the clenlieness and location, it will be hard for me to return to any Cinemark theater after an experience like this. I specifically save the "childrens" movies for after they release to watch at home so i dont have to deal with that, you would think an R rated film would be a more mature audience, but this theater (and i presume the company as a whole) do not uphold the same standards

  Very nice setup and usually clean, you just won't find many smaller movies like Hokum.

  I love this theater! We drive 45 minutes to go here! The theater is clean, the seats are well maintained, with reclining and heating features. The bathrooms are always clean, and there are tons of choices around the theater to eat before or after the show. It’s a beautiful area, this is one of our favorites!

You can control the intensity of the movement right from the armrest, so if you want to feel every explosion and car chase, you can crank it up, or dial it back for a more subtle immersion. It completely elevates the experience of an action or sci-fi film. ​Comfort and Atmosphere Beyond the motion tech, the seats themselves are incredibly comfortable and spacious. The D-BOX seating is strategically positioned in the premium rows, guaranteeing you the absolute best viewing angle in the auditorium. The St. Johns location as a whole is always well-maintained, and the self-serve ticket kiosks and Studio Eats food setup make getting to your seat a breeze. ​The Verdict Taking all four kids to a D-BOX screening is definitely a pricey outing, so we typically reserve these specific seats for highly anticipated event movies or a fun, kid-free date night. But when you want to feel like you're actually in the movie rather than just watching it, this theater delivers. 5/5 stars!
