I do not recommend this place.
I had a terrible experience. I lost my $750 Gucci sunglasses on one of the water attractions. A few hours later, I received a call telling me they had found them, so I returned to the park to pick them up. When I arrived, they told me they were gone and that no one knew where they were.
It is completely unacceptable to tell a guest that their lost item has been found and then claim it has disappeared. This shows a serious lack of responsibility in handling lost property and has caused me to lose trust in the park.
I left extremely disappointed with the way my situation was handled. I do not recommend this place.

Absolutely terrible experience with Shipwreck Island in Panama City Beach. I would give 0 stars if I could.
On June 6, my family and I visited Shipwreck Island in Panama City Beach, where I lost my Gucci sunglasses worth over $700. We filed a lost-and-found report before leaving and were told we would be contacted if they were found.
We never received a call. About two weeks later, we got an email stating someone had already picked up our sunglasses, which was impossible since we live 9 hours away and authorized no one. Later that same day, we received another email saying the sunglasses had been found, along with a confirmation number, and were being held for us.
We replied immediately, letting them know we would return during the week of June 30 to pick them up. However, when we arrived, we were told they could not find the sunglasses and they were not in lost-and-found.
The conflicting information and lack of accountability were frustrating. The process was disorganized, no one could explain what happened, and despite confirming the sunglasses were found, they disappeared.
Customer service was extremely disappointing. We were misled, made a long trip expecting to retrieve our property, and left empty-handed.
If you bring anything valuable to this park, don’t rely on their lost-and-found system. Based on our experience, I would never recommend Shipwreck Island and will not return.

I got season passes back in early March. Got the elite pass and it originally showed my (2) bring a friend passes for each month besides July as well as my $10 meal voucher for each month. Now some things are missing. A girl at the guest services said that I had already used one (I have an elite and a silver) when I had only been once with my mom and never went and picked any vouchers up. The whole bring a friend passes and dates were not shown before i had purchased. This whole new system is so unorganized and a total crap show. My portal still said I had one BAF for June and went to go use today and they said I was unable to. If they want to make the BAF certain dated that should’ve been explained when ordering and on the portal as well. Absolutely ridiculous. Also would’ve rather not getting a swag bag and just a bigger refillable cup. Those things are extremely tiny compared to the old mug style.

We had a great day at Shipwreck Island! Very relaxing and a ton of fun on Monday, June 8th. The park was not overly crowded and everyone we interacted with - both guests and staff - were very nice. This started with Maisie (sp?) who checked us in at the cabana desk. We had pre-purchased a cabana reservation for a basic unit but decided to upgrade when we arrived. Well, it was worth it in every sense. She walked us to the cabana, explained all the features and was super friendly. She walked too other families to their cabanas ahead of us and returned each time with a smile and provided great service which is a testament to her as doing this in the Florida heat and humidity is no joke! As we were leaving at the end of the day, she was cleaning the bathrooms and was still smiling and gracious. The men's room was drying, and she let me use the ladies rest room instead of walking across the park - even stood guard at the door! Wow she was incredible and I would instantly hire her for my company!
The rides were fun. Wait times were nonexistent, except for the White Knuckle raft ride which had about a 15-minute wait. The lazy river was perfect in every way - water temp, speed, everything. Sometimes lazy rivers move a bit too fast or get crowded and you're constantly bumping up against others. I could have stayed on my float the whole day and snoozed my way around that river forever! If I had any complaints, it would be the wave poll wasn't really wavy - low frequency and when they did make waves, they were almost not even noticeable and they didn't have a great selection of t-shirts. If these are my only complaints, my life is blessed. Prices were very fair all around for food, drinks, entrance, cabana, etc.
