  We had a blast during our night time visit. The waterfall slams down on ya pretty good in the lazy river so be mindful of that if you have little ones. We used a solid seat tube as a makeshift canopy for our baby while going under it. Longest lazy river we've ever been in.

  Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon was our way of working the Disney experience into our Florida vacation, and we are so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the park was immaculate, the attractions were fantastic, and the overall atmosphere made for an easy, enjoyable day. We stayed right up until park close and felt we genuinely got our money’s worth. Our family’s favorite attractions were Miss Adventure Falls, Keelhaul Falls, and, of course, relaxing on Castaway Creek (the lazy river). Our kids aren’t strong swimmers yet, so we steered clear of the surf pool. The waves there are huge and intense, which looks incredible for stronger swimmers, but was a bit much for our little ones. For lunch, we used mobile ordering at Typhoon Tilly’s, which made the process seamless and fast. The menu is basic and carries the standard Disney price markup, but the food quality and experience were completely in line with what you expect across Disney properties. Two massive perks worth calling out: standard parking is completely free, and complimentary towels are included. In an era where theme parks nickel-and-dime you for every amenity and taking a family of four through the turnstiles can easily top $1,000, those inclusions were a breath of fresh air. Typhoon Lagoon delivered on every front, and we will definitely have it on our itinerary the next time we plan a Disney trip.

  DO NOT BOOK THE SURFING WAVE POOL. I booked for my bachelorette party and they called to cancel 2 hours before. The manager of the wave pool experience was not understanding nor followed up with communication with me. We are wasted so much time and energy to do this for my bachelorette to be completely taken from me.

  Typhoon Lagoon is hands down one of the best ways to kick off a vacation on arrival day. Instead of burning an expensive park ticket when you only have half a day, let the Disney resort bell services handle your luggage, jump straight on the Disney bus in your swimwear, and soak in that full Disney bubble effect from day one. The tropical storm backstory and lush landscaping immediately slow your pulse, letting you decompress from travel while still feeling completely immersed in the magic before stepping foot into a major theme park. The water attractions deliver the perfect balance of relaxation and group fun. Castaway Creek is an exceptional lazy river that winds through cool mist, shady grottos, and lush rainforest scenery, making it easy to float for multiple laps without ever feeling rushed. When you want some shared excitement, the family raft attractions like Miss Adventure Falls hit the sweet spot, packing conveyor-belt lifts, audio-animatronic props, and fast, twisting flumes that the whole crew can ride together. Between the gentle pacing, massive wave pool, and effortless arrival-day logistics, it sets an easygoing, fun tone for the rest of the trip.
