It's Disney, the theming is fabulous. The snowman family taking pictures at the front is adorable, and the snow baby, Button, should be better represented in merchandise-- as my son declared, "I would die for Button!!" The lazy river isbas relaxing as the wave pool and slides are, well, not. Great splashy fun all around.
I would opine that the other Disney water park, Typhoon Lagoon, is a bit better and has some better food options, but overall they're comparable. Lots of fun; as long as the "free" day is part of your vacation package, I recommend taking advantage!

Great water park. The waves in the main pool are very tame and not like the lethal ones at Typhoon Lagoon! The kids area is great too with lots to do. Didn’t try any of the slides as not that bothered about them and didn’t want to queue for 30 plus minutes just to go down one. The food was standard Disney quick service but only had a couple of tills open so took an hour from deciding to go eat to actually getting the food! We did go at peak lunch time so our fault but they need more tills open at busy times!

This was our first time visiting blizzard beach, as we used to go to typhoon lagoon more often. We lived the vives and the park, the rides were great for the kids and adults, as the is a good variety. I loved their soft waves pool, as it was gentle to stay in and o entertain the kids. We also enjoyed the food in the main restaurant.

We visited this water park 7 years ago and thought it was incredible. We visited again last week and it just didn’t have the same feel. It felt old and tired. Some of the larger slides were closed and the conveyer belt on one kept braking. Parts of the park almost felt abandoned / deserted. It was such a shame as we were so excited to go back but within 2 hours we ended up leaving.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today, August 15, 2026, at the Beach Haus in Blizzard Beach. At the beach haus,a white female Cast Member with two braids, one on each side of her head, was particularly rude, insolent, dismissive, and disrespectful toward me. She seemed unwilling even to speak with me and repeatedly passed me from one Cast Member to another when all I wanted was to pay for an available private Polar Patio for my family. The entire situation was frustrating, as I was given different and inconsistent excuses despite there being availability. Eventually, this same Cast Member processed my payment but spoke to me in a condescending and degrading manner, unnecessarily emphasizing that the purchase was “non-refundable,” even though I had never asked for or mentioned a refund. The money is not the issue; I simply expected the level of professionalism, hospitality, and respect associated with Disney. Unfortunately, this experience was neither magical nor wonderful and was far below the standard I expected from Disney.
