  Disney Hollywood Studios is a descent amusement park. It appears the park is switching from a ride focus to show focus. The Star Wars space is fantastic. The rides are the best for 6 plus. The Muppets Rockin Roller Coaster is a blast (must be 48 inches) (it has loops and twists and is in the dark) My 9 year old loved it. It was a bit much for my 6 year old. Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania are fun for all ages. The sleeper show is the Frozen Singalong. There's something for everyone. It's a sing along, it's a comedy show, it has 3 D surprises, and is in the AC! Yay The best restaurants with different fun foods are in the Star Wars food courts. Burgers and chicken fingers are available around the park and in the Toy Story Land. Whichever park you visit Lightning Passes are a must to maximize your rides. Disney World has 3 different Lightning Passes. The Multiple Lightning Pass (Roughly $28 to $35 per day per park) is a must to access at least 3 rides and add a ride after completing or canceling a lightning ride if available each rides . There is also a Single Pass ($25 to $35 per day per park) that allows you to ride more popular or newer rides once per day when available and a Premier Pass ($400 to $450 per park per day) that allows access to each ride once in a day. Ride wait times very from 15 minutes to 3 hours. The average between 45 minutes to 75 minutes. With a lightning pass used well in conjunction with using the map app one can navigate and maximize fun!

  We've visited Orlando several times and Walt Disney World (WDW) has always been THE highlight of every trip. Yet our most recent trip has changed our entire view of WDW and Disney as a brand and until further change has been implemented we shall not return. Which does saddens me, as it was once such a special place to make memories with loved ones where you felt valued. Our party has multiple diagnosed and medicated disabilities/disorders which WDW previously understood and fairly accommodated. WDW have since made drastic unjustitfied changes to their Disability Access Service (DAS) when our conditions or requirements have not. WDW now financially abuse those with vulnerabilities insisting an upcharge for reasonable accommodations. I appreciate the former system may have been abused by some, but their arrogance to refuse medical evidence from certified professionals astounds me. The new process for DAS eligibility can only be described as degrading, belittling and humiliating. Equally you cannot know whether you are eligible until they've taken your money, removing options to consider the viability of your visit. We were not eligible for the DAS during our most recent trip, but had purchased tickets prior. We attempted and failed to make the best of it. We ended up leaving the parks after a few hours in each park and concluded that WDW is no longer accessible for all. Lack of personal accomodations aside, WDW is no longer a pleasurable experience or affordable for us. Costs have increased unjustifably and the quality of offerings, products and services has noticably declined. Parks were dangerously overcrowded and everything that was once a standard offering is now an upcharge. WDW's distasteful greed was blatant, which left us miserable and feeling we had been taken advantage of/mis-sold. Our experience has negatively impacted our view/opinions of a brand we once loved and held in such high regard. In conclusion, WDW greedily seek to maximise profits with zero regard, care or consideration for the guest experience. What do I attempt to gain from this review? I do not expect a refund or goodwill gesture, I hope WDW see this and make the changes needed to return to the high quality experience they once offered. I also hope this review reaches those planning to return to WDW and allows them to reconsider if it is viable for them. If it is your first visit to WDW please don't let this review put you off, as you'll not be aware of what it once was but lower your expectations, expect to pay more than standard entry to maximise your enjoyment. Having said that Universal Orlando Resort during this trip have vastly improved their offerings and overall guest experience and surpassed our previous expectations. As have other European competitors such as Europa Park Germany where we visited last year.

  Spending my 30th birthday with my mom at Disney World Orlando Florida at 4 different parks has truly been a spectacular experience!! We got in on Monday and our last day at a park will be Friday!! I came into our experience with the biggest smile on my face and that has stayed consistent throughout our journey!! From day one of having the birthday pin proudly displayed the shear amount of genuine Happy Birthdays and best wishes I received truly made it extra special! However there are 4 specific people who I’d like to give a special shout out and highlight for going above and beyond. Starting out during our first night we decided to have dinner at our hotel in the Animal Kingdom lodge. The lady who sat my mom and I down took the time to grab a birthday pin, got a birthday card, and passed the birthday card to a handful of staff members who signed it in different languages so that I could look up the meaning which was another way she went above and beyond as she wanted to introduce me to their native language. Stellar customer service! Thank you also to the specialist allergy chef at the Animal Kingdom lodge diner who took time to ask me all the questions about my allergy to spicy food and pointed out specifics to stay away from and offered to make something special for me if there was something that ended up being too spicy for me. The next one that deserves to be highlighted is Valentina from Hollywood Scoops Ice Cream Stand! The moment my mom and I went up to look what was on the menu she took note of my birthday pin and said Happy Birthday asking if we were having a fun day with mine and my mom’s response being “Absolutely!” I decided to get the cookies and cream Mickey Mouse ice cream which was bomb and was the option that was recommended by her! 💯 Must get this ice cream!! After she made it and brought it out she let my mom and I know that it’s on the house as your birthday dessert!! Super Stellar! Thank you so much Valentina! Then there’s Danny from Starbucks who when I let him know about my allergy to caffeine took the time to bring in the allergy specialist staff member who personally took my order asking all of the proper questions then she verbalized to me that she was going to take extra special care and precautions with my order which was exactly what she did! After leaving I noted to my mom that I didn’t see a name tag and wished I did see a name tag so that I could put her specific name as a special shout out! The white chocolate Frappuccino with no coffee flavor and absolutely no caffeine just how I like it was made with over the top sweetness and the Happy Birthday note on the cup with a little balloon drawing I believe it was made the drink even sweeter!!! All of these specific interactions highlighted along with the hang loose 🤙 photo shoot vibes with stitch, interacting with goofy photo shoot that brought back memories of my childhood, and meeting in person my personal favorite Disney Princess of all time Mulan who told me about moon pie for dessert which at some point I will have to try moon pie! Not so sure if it’ll be this trip at Disney World but Mulan if you’re reading this I want you to know that because you said it now moon pie is on my bucket list! Mulan is my ultimate hero! She’s helped me through so many hard and dark times in my life! I would watch Mulan like 20 times over and over again when I was younger and was in the hospital for certain procedures! I knew that if Mulan could be tough and be victorious then I could too!! I’ve been a very healthy and happy adult for a long time now and have been thriving!!! Turning 30 has been such an amazing celebration!!! Thank you Disney and thank you to ALL staff members who go above and beyond to make dreams and the magic of Disney a reality!!! I look forward to my last day of birthday celebration with my mom being at the Animal Kingdom tomorrow!!! Keep up the life changing work Disney because all of you are truly changing lives no matter what job title you have!!!

  Incident Date: October 1, 2026 Approximate Time: 10:20 AM Location: Entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Employee: Jenn I am writing to formally document an incident that occurred at the entrance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios involving an employee named Jenn. Our party included a child who has a DAS pass and an elopement risk. The child uses a tagged wheelchair/wagon-type device as a safety measure. During the entrance process, Jenn identified that the tags on the device had expired. Jenn instructed the mother to leave the entrance area with the wheelchair/wagon and go to Guest Relations to address the expired tags. As a result, the mother had to leave with the device, and the child became separated from the mother and the remainder of the party. Because the child has an elopement risk, maintaining appropriate supervision and keeping the child with the responsible members of the party is an important safety consideration. The separation occurred while the family was attempting to resolve the tag issue. The mother was willing to address the expired tags with Guest Relations. Our concern is whether there was an alternative way to address the administrative issue without requiring the mother to leave with the child's mobility/safety device and resulting in the child being separated from the party. During the interaction, Jenn's communication was perceived as rude, dismissive, and condescending. I believe this aspect of the interaction should also be reviewed. We understand that Disney may have requirements concerning identification tags on mobility devices, and we are not disputing the need to address expired tags. The concern is the handling of the situation and its impact on the child's safety and supervision. I respectfully request that Disney review: The circumstances surrounding the expired tags. Why the mother was required to leave with the device rather than having the issue addressed without separating the child from the party. Whether the child's DAS accommodation and elopement risk were appropriately considered. The circumstances that resulted in the child becoming separated from the mother and other members of the party. The employee's communication and conduct during the interaction. Whether additional guidance or procedures are appropriate for situations involving children with elopement risks and mobility/safety devices. I am requesting a response regarding the outcome of this review and any steps Disney may take to help ensure that similar situations are handled safely and appropriately in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

  Hollywood Studios was a much better experience for us than our day at Magic Kingdom, and overall we really enjoyed the park. We purchased the Premier Lightning Lane again and, unlike our experience at Magic Kingdom, this time it was exceptional value. We managed to experience all the rides we wanted to do without spending huge amounts of the day standing in queues, which made an enormous difference. The attractions here are excellent. Rise of the Resistance is an experience in itself and the level of detail throughout Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is incredible. Tower of Terror was another highlight and there is a really good variety of attractions across the park. One thing Disney deserves huge credit for across all of its parks is cleanliness. Everywhere we have visited has been immaculately clean despite the enormous number of people passing through every day. It’s something that’s easily taken for granted, but they clearly do an exceptional job maintaining the parks. Our biggest recurring criticism is the lack of seating. For the number of people these parks accommodate, there simply aren’t enough comfortable places to sit and take a break, particularly around some of the food areas. When you’re spending an entire day walking around in the Florida heat, somewhere to sit shouldn’t feel like a luxury. Food was unfortunately more mixed. We ate at 50’s Prime Time Cafe and loved the concept and theming, but the food itself was disappointing. The wings were dry, the mains were fairly bland and we waited longer than expected. Our server Michelle, however, was lovely and deserves a mention. We also stopped at Ronto Roasters. The food itself was fine, but the service interaction lacked the friendliness and warmth we would normally associate with Disney. Unfortunately, that has been a recurring theme during parts of this trip. Despite those issues, Hollywood Studios was a very enjoyable day. The attractions were excellent, Premier Lightning Lane worked brilliantly here, the theming is fantastic and the park was exceptionally well maintained. Definitely one of our better Disney park experiences on this trip and a park we would happily visit again.
