  This was my birthday surprise from my husband. He nailed it since he knows how much I love murder mystery shows. We had a blast. The food was great and the staff was wonderful and super hilarious. I recommend dressing the part as well. It makes it for a fun time. We would definitely do this again!

  So much fun! Definitely will be back! Prime rib was huge & amazing! The drinks so good. Sat by strangers at our table and left with friends 10/10 experience

  It was our 41st anniversary. We were excited for the murder mystery train. My daughter was with us. It started fine but we stopped for about an hour. We just sat there. No one said any thing to us. When they presented us with the check, we were told the bridge was not working and could not continue. The train went back the way we came through the poor area of Fort Meyers. We never saw the scenic area promised. We didn’t even get Half the train trip we paid for. And they will not refund even a portion of the over $400 it cost for this train ride. Also we found out the next day that they KNEW the bridge was down and did not give us the option to reschedule. Very unprofessional

  I usually hate leaving bad reviews, but for the sake of future customers, I felt it was necessary. I had been wanting to go on the murder mystery dinner train for many years now and finally decided to splurge and buy a ticket. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The train itself was incredibly charming and the atmosphere was adorable. The food was mediocre, which for the price, was disappointing. However, the biggest disappointment was the actual show that made up maybe 20 minutes of the 3 1/2 hour train ride which left room for lots of boredom. The script was written so that every character had motive and evidence and it seems like they kind of just picked a random person to be the murderer at the end. I think the concept of a murder mystery dinner train has tons of potential and I think with some adjustments it could be an incredible experience, but it is not quite there yet.

  We live on Florida’s east coast and decided to make a weekend trip to Fort Myers just for the Murder Mystery Dinner Train, staying overnight at a hotel only five minutes away. It was absolutely worth it! From the moment we arrived until the time we left, the entire experience was fantastic. You first stop at the souvenir shop to pick up your tickets, where you’re told which railcar and table you’ll be seated at. When we sat down, a beautiful cheese and cracker platter was already waiting for us. They offer a full bar, including cocktails and bottles of wine, and our waitress mentioned they come through several times during the ride to take additional drink orders. The dinner exceeded our expectations. It included fresh bread with butter, the cheese and cracker appetizer, a bowl of soup, your choice of entrée, and dessert. The entrée options included chicken, beef, and fish. We chose the prime rib and the chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The cast was outstanding! They stayed in character the entire time and did an incredible job making everyone feel involved in the mystery. This was our first time, but my parents had done it before and warned us that you really have to pay attention. They’re right! Each guest receives a pen and an answer sheet to solve the mystery by identifying the killer, the motive, and a special clue. Out of the four of us, only one person correctly guessed the killer, and even then, they didn’t completely figure out the motive. It made the experience even more fun and interactive. If I had one small criticism, it’s that although you’re riding on a train, this isn’t a scenic excursion. Much of the route goes through industrial or less picturesque areas, with only a few brief glimpses of the water and nicer scenery. That said, the entertainment is so engaging that you’re rarely focused on what’s outside the window anyway. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience with excellent food, outstanding service, and a talented cast. I would absolutely come back again when they have a different mystery to solve. If you’re looking for a unique date night, family outing, or celebration, I highly recommend the Murder Mystery Dinner Train!
