  It was kind of disappointing because nearly half of the slides where closed. A lazy river where you go down in tube was closed too. For the price you and for nearly half the park to be closed is very very disappointing! They could at least charge less, $60 per person and still have to pay parking. Keep in mind if you come you will be disappointed.

  Skip Big Kahuna and have an extra beach day. From the street it looks great but everything behind it is trashy. The food is insanely overpriced and not good. A few items I wouldn’t let our kiddo eat bc the temp was off. The park is dated and dirty. You need tubes for some slides but most are damaged or deflated. They don’t stack tubes by slides you need them for so you have to wait at the lazy river until someone is done. Lugging tubes around for the whole family all day long is a pain. I know it’s a waterpark and bathrooms are never ideal but theirs are DIRTY. Like years of build up and never had a deep clean, dirty. The staff isn’t helpful and is honestly rude. A kiddo got stuck in a slide and they just sent the next one down. Not sure what happened but both were crying at the bottom. Multiple slides were closed or not working. I usually don’t write reviews but it was so bad. If a horror movie needs to be shot in an abandoned waterpark this is the spot but everyone needs a tetanus shot first.

  THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! We go to water parks multiple times a year & we’ve never experienced such poor management & weak employees. They charge the normal price for a ticket, but yet the good slides were closed, the big lazy river, the raft rides- AKA ALL THE GOOD ONES! The only thing that was open were the small slides. I’m hoping a manager will see this & give me some sob story about how they don’t have enough employees. That’s not our fault, sweetie. If you can’t keep your place of business running, that’s on you. Not us. (And there were a MILLION employees there by the way). They are only open on the weekends, so yet why not have everything open? Whoever is running this joint needs a crayon & paper and to take notes on how to run a business. It’s probably a good thing all the slides & stuff weren’t open now that I type this out. I don’t think I’d trust any of the lifeguards there if anything were to happen. In our opinion , they all looked like they hated their job. A lot of things need to change at this place to make it work like it used to back in the day. It’s safe to say, a lot has changed in 20 years the last time we went… Oh, and we waited 20 minutes for pizza that tasted like cardboard. And burnt. WTH is wrong with you guys??? Make things so damn difficult when it doesn’t have to be. We definitely want our money back. We paid full admission for a park where the majority of the major slides & attractions were closed. Charging full price while withholding access to the core features of the park is deceptive business practice, & we did not receive the service/product we paid for. I would love to speak directly to a manager with the authority to issue this refund.So we will be making a call. If Big Kahuna's refuses to make this right, my next step is filing a formal dispute with my credit card company for services not rendered, lodging a complaint with the BBB & the Florida Attorney General’s consumer protection division, and making sure every local tourism board knows how you're treating paying guests.

  One chili dog, one wrap, one side of fries and 2 drinks costed SEVENTY DOLLARS. I have never seen such a ridiculous upcharge of low quality food anywhere in my life, not even at the movie theater or Disney World. Besides that, I paid the regular year-round full price for tickets only to find out they had half of the park closed inside. No mention of this on their website. I asked one of the workers and they said "yeah they just do this when the teenagers all go back to school because they're shortstaffed." Lol what?? If half the slides are closed, lessen the price of admission! In total, we spent a little over $200 between tickets, lunch, parking and a locker for our stuff. Besides the terrible pricing, the park just isn't fun. The lazy river is small and crowded. Most slides will nearly give you a concussion the way they whip you back and forth. And the burning hot cement/wood walkways barely have any shade. You will absolutely get the bottoms of your feet torn up trying to go from slide to slide at this place. It doesn't help that it's an absolute maze inside and you'll have to turn around a lot. I climbed the highest slide just for some teenager to tell me I couldn't wear my g-shock waterproof watch and had to go back down. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I discourage any and all families from giving the people who own this place the satisfaction of ripping you off until they change their business strategies. PS (this is to Big Kahuna's PR team) do not bother responding to my comment unless you're trying to offer a full $200 refund. I do not care to hear how sorry you are without monetary evidence.

  Hoy visitamos por 2da vez este parque acuático y la señora de la puerta decidió q el chaleco de mi niña autista de 5 años no era seguro y q no lo podia entrar a la instalación. Cabe resaltar q en julio fuimos y ella uso el mismo chaleco. Dentro vi muchos niños con chalecos similares pero al parecer su problema fue con nosotros ,aunque le explique no le importó para nada y asi me pregunto donde está la inclusión,o el apoyo a los niños autistas toda aquella familia q tiene un niño con una condición sabe lo dificil q es cambiar una rutina o un objeto en especifico. Nosotros super emocionados pq mi niña ayer cumplio sus 5 añitos y queria visitar este parque y le tocó llorar bastante pq ella no entendia el pq de no poder usar su chaleco. Lo catalogo como maltrato al cliente q pagó hasta el ultimo centavo por ir a disfrutar de una instalación y lo q ganamos fue un mal momento solo pq la señora q me dijo q era la manager,q lo dudo decidió echarnos a perder el día.
