I have seen three movies there: the much-heralded Bob Dylan biopic, the Ronald Reagan-Mikhail Gorbachev Iceland meeting pic, and the Coyote v ACME film. With each of them, it was like I was transported to a total immersive experience. It is the best theater I have ever been in. I always go on Tuesdays for the discounted rates: $6.75- $7.50 per ticket, plus transactional fees. The seats are always fully functional recliners: feet and back. The theater is always clean, no broken seats, and no floors where your feet stick to the floor because other patrons have discarded their candy or popcorn on the floor. In retirement, this is my go to theater. I will join the movie club when I see a good deal for extra benefits. Believe it or not for the first movie I went here, they had valet parking.
We had a beautiful time at The Palace in Boca Raton! We went to see Spa Day and had a great experience overall. We were originally planning to catch the 2:15 PM showing, but after having lunch, we realized we were going to be a little late, so we decided to catch the 3:45 PM showing instead. In the meantime, we discovered that The Palace has an upstairs area where you can hang out, play pool, grab something to eat, and enjoy the bar. We decided to spend some time at the bar before our movie.
Unfortunately, this is where our experience took a turn. The bartender, Shannon, provided some of the worst customer service we experienced during our visit. My aunt had left her glasses at home and couldn’t clearly see everything on the menu, so she politely asked Shannon, “What are some of your sweet drinks that you serve?” Instead of offering a suggestion or simply explaining the options, Shannon made a disgusted facial expression and responded, “Whatever is on the menu.” Throughout our interaction, every question we asked was met with an attitude or an eye roll. At that point, we decided to ask if she could hand us off to another employee.
Thankfully, John stepped in, and he was AMAZING! He was friendly, attentive, made our drinks in a timely manner, and actually took the time to give us recommendations based on what we were looking for. His customer service completely changed the experience. Overall, I would give The Palace 10/10 for the atmosphere, entertainment, and overall experience, but customer service is a huge part of the experience when you’re in an environment like this.
I completely understand that everyone can have a bad day. However, when you’re working in customer service, the way you interact with customers matters. Customers shouldn’t feel uncomfortable asking questions or feel like they’re bothering an employee simply because they’re trying to decide what to order. John deserves recognition for his excellent customer service and professionalism. As for management, I hope this feedback is taken seriously because The Palace has a lot going for it, and experiences like this shouldn’t take away from an otherwise great visit.
I’m beyond annoyed of the service. I went to the premiere movie bistro upstairs with my mom today , we pre booked our tickets and our food/ drinks.
It says online your food will be delivered to you during the movie. We were being patient in the beginning understandably, but time goes on about 1.5 hours IN, and we’re still thinking about the food trying to watch the movie, so I go and tell one of the servers we still didn’t get our food, she gets our seat number and says she’ll check on it. Again 30 minutes goes by, and we’re sitting there still wondering Where the heck it is. And now we leave a second time to go see where our Order is, I only get the popcorn and the drink and was told the food will be made fresh— They didn’t bring the food until the movie completely finished and ALSO forgot one of the items in our order. and this was so disappointing giving the fact that the food is also apart of the movie theater experience. It completely ruined the experience worrying about the food we already paid for during the whole entire time.
After the movie, I see there’s also about 50 workers with servers and in the kitchen, so I don’t understand why they didn’t bring the food on times

Very disappointed saw The Oddesy in 70mm and it suffered from Screen flicker during the bright scenes and some strange artifacts where scenery shifted. For example the last scenes with Odysseus talking to Penelope are talking and she is behind a screen, the screen patterns kept shifting. I told the manager who said no one else complained, but I can't believe that. It was very annoying and detracted from the viewing experience. I go to movies to enjoy them on the big screen and this showing was not enjoyable. They need to fix this issue, I have not had this before at other theaters in my 50+ years of movie watching in theaters. If this is normal then there is no point in going as it ruins the whole experience.
I believe a properly calibrated 70mm projector with a healthy Xenon lamp, stable DC power supply, and correctly phased shutter should delivers a remarkably steady, bright image that is flicker free. I believe their xenon lamp is burning out. They need to take a look as this cannot suggest this is a normal movie experience.

I went to see Spider-Man on August 10th at the 6:30 PM showing. Overall, I really enjoyed the movie and the theater experience - everything was great until I decided to order food.
About 40 minutes before the movie ended, I placed a food order expecting it to be delivered to my seat. Unfortunately, I never received it.
I spoke with a staff member with curly hair and glasses, by the way, she wasn't wearing a name tag. Now I understand why. and even when I was placing the order, she seemed unsure about what sauce was supposed to come with it or whether a sauce was included at all. After the movie ended, I approached her again and asked what had happened to my order and why it had never been delivered. She had no idea where the order was, what had happened to it, or how to help me, and eventually had to call another staff member.
At that point, I honestly wasn’t even sure whether my order had ever been sent to the kitchen in the first place.
In the end, I had to request a refund and leave the theater hungry after waiting for food that never arrived. It was especially disappointing because everything else about my visit had been enjoyable. I understand that mistakes happen, but I would expect staff to at least be able to track an order, explain what happened, and offer a solution.
