  Jeffrey did a wonderful job tuning our upright piano this year. He is very skilled and took his time to ensure that individual notes and chords played accordingly. Thank you for the recommendation to move our piano away from the radiator to keep it tuned longer.

  I had originally meant to leave a raving review about 7 months ago, when Jeff performed a miracle on the upright I inherited from my grandparents. This upright, mind you, is nothing fancy, and it was hardly ever taken care of or tuned, so it was in pretty bad shape. No really, it was an absolute disaster. I had previously and erroneously hired a different technician, who wanted nothing more than to sell me on every service he offered, so that I'd end up spending over $3k+ on a piano I couldn't give away for free... and I think his tuning made it worse. Then I found Jeff, and he was totally professional, nice personality, and honest in his practice. He was frank about cautioning not to spend too much on it, because it's just plain old and worn. The tuning and other minor touches he made, however, turned my train wreck, into something that I have thoroughly enjoyed every day since. Immediately after the tuning, I couldn't believe my ears. I grew up playing a Yamaha medium-grand C-series, and though there's no way anyone can make a cheaper upright sound like a nice grand, my piano sounded brand new again. My grandparents would've been ecstatic, though I like to believe they could hear it. I play quite a bit, and often heavy, at an average of about 2-3 hours, 4-5 times a week, sometimes even more. His tuning has sustained exceptionally well all this time. I just called for a routine tune-up to get that pristine sound again, and was bummed to find out he had moved from LA (where I am) to Colorado, though he was even kind enough to refer me to someone he trusts. So if you're in Colorado and looking for a piano tuner... stop. Just hire this guy! You're welcome!
