I’ve been to many aquariums, so I may be being too critical here…but I didn’t think it was good for the price. I’ve paid less at other aquariums for far more exhibits. It would have been cool to see the tiger, but it wasn’t out. The sting ray area is cool, but most aquariums have that. I expected more sharks and exhibits. You could walk through the whole thing in under 30 minutes. I was also surprised at the lack of signage/info on the fish. The space is small and walkways aren’t wide enough for more than 3-4 people. It was difficult to get by people or just walk. I’ve been to the SLC, Phoenix, Long Beach CA, and Seattle aquarium and they are all better.
The Aquarium and restaurant were good and appreciated the bar at the end of the gift shop.

My husband and I came here for the first time and we luckily used Groupon for access to the aquarium exhibits and a $50 gift card to the restaurant. The aquarium itself is nice, lots of amazing sea creatures and the tiger of course, a few other non-marine animals. It was smaller than I expected but the experience was good, especially petting the stingrays! They were so social with us and it was fun. The restaurant was good, we loved the food, my husband go the Broiled Fisherman's Plate and I got the MahiMahi with Shrimp and the Melissa topping. We ordered the crab and shrimp dip for appetizer and it was AMAZING. We were a bit naive and ordered both the shark attack AND the tres leches tiramisu for dessert, they were much bigger than we thought but tasted amazing of course. Our waiter was attentive and we got our souvenir cups! Overall, a good experience for us.

Honestly the aquarium part is amazing. Me and my kids lived the marine life and sharks they got to see. Feeding the stingrays was so much fun! We will come back just for the aquarium part. My issue is with the aquarium restaurant. After eating the waitress Alexis gave us our bill for 65. We paid with a 100 dollar gift card and left a 10 dollar tip so we should have had at least 25 dollars left. Went to the gift shop to get our kiddos a little souvenir and they said all the card had been used. We walk back to the restaurant to ask and Alexis miss charged us. Saved the card info and ran it for the full 100 that was on the card. Manager said oh sorry she missed charged you the first time. I don't see how it's ethical to save the card info to run it again after the guest have left but that's what they did. I've worked on the restaurant industry and if the server screwdriver up on the ticket we had to eat the cost not save guest cars info to recharge them. Absolutely ridiculous.

We expected a long wait to be seated and willingly chose to wait over an hour for a table. However, the experience became completely unacceptable after we ordered. After sitting down and placing our order, we waited another full hour just for the food to arrive. To make matters worse, out of the four entrees we ordered, only one was correct. The other three dishes were completely wrong.Waiting over two hours total just to receive the wrong food is incredibly disorganized and disrespectful of customers' time. We will not be returning to this establishment. By the way
the Aquarium was okay.

This aquarium has many beautiful enclosures and most of the animals seemed to be very healthy and well taken care of. The aquarium is built with the intention of only moving forward, so it can be tricky to double back, especially against traffic. This wasn't a big problem until you hit a bottleneck where traffic built up (and that was very stressful for us). Be aware that the gift shop which is the final destination of the route is very tight and while you can use a wheelchair, it may be tricky. Good news is that if you're local or plan accordingly, they do offer "quiet hours" with much less traffic at least one a month.
Besides the flow of traffic, I also knocked a star off because while the aquatic enclosures look good, the few reptile enclosures they have could use a little bit of an upgrade (more on size than set up) because they had some decent sized reptiles in enclosures too small - even for private keeping.
I absolutely loved the first section of the aquarium because it felt like walking through a jungle and enjoyed the fish on display, although I do wish they either reduce their stock numbers or increase the size because there was an absolutely beautiful Arapaima that was huge and couldn't turn around properly (plus several other huge fish).
