The Community House, known as Chautauqua’s “living room,” was built in 1918. Today, it is host to weddings, parties, meetings, retreats and events of all sizes throughout the year. The main room, known as the Grand Assembly, occupies the main floor and features hardwood floors, a fireplace, a grand piano, and a large covered porch. One level below, the rustic Rocky Mountain Climbers’ Club, with its original stone walls and fireplace, is perfect for a luncheon or midsize meeting. The Meadows Room is a quiet space appropriate for smaller meetings.
