- TPTommy Priddy5 days ago1.0"I haven’t been to the movie theater in a while. I arrived ten minutes early, as the website stated the movie started at 1:59 p.m. However, I ended up watching 25 minutes of television commercials followed by 20 minutes of previews. If I wanted to watch commercials, I would have stayed home and paid nothing. I asked for a refund, and they honored it. What a load of BS! I will never ever again go this movie theater again .

Front assistant manager scanning tickets doesn’t allow me to see rated R movie (I’m 18) because my friend is 17 and offers a refund. After some back and forth I come to terms and ask for a refund, yet he already scanned our tickets so he says we cannot get a refund. We call for his manager to come help and after making us wait 15-20 minutes he just says we can go into the movie (about 30 minutes late). My friend goes to shake his hand because we have come to terms, and he is making a kind gesture; this is when he refused to do so out of disrespect. After this we asked if we could switch our tickets to another movie, he happily said he’s obliged regularly but he couldn’t in this situation. Come to find out that the legal age for a raided R movie is 17 and that this entire interaction was for nothing. If I could leave a 0 star I would, we were never compensated or anything for this waste of time.
