Once Upon A Time

Ruby remembers when Uncle Herman read her bedtime stories. As per usual, there seems to be more truth to these tales than he had originally led on. Step into the enchanted forest, where the presence of the dastardly Vincent Kane has run rampant in the mythical land. You must find the magical objects of his desire and thwart his plans. This time, he won’t get away with it.

Confinement

Ruby hasn’t been sleeping well. Her dreams have been filled with her fears and what seem like distant warnings from loved ones long gone. And, as with all dreams, the only way to get out is to go through. Find hidden clues in Ruby’s subconscious, and string together the pieces of her memories to free yourself from her dreams.

A dying man named Vincent Kane has hired your impressive talents. You see, within an antique shop lies his most beloved family heirloom. And he wants it back. However, it has been carefully protected by the shop’s owner, Herman. Your job is to grab the sword and get out… But Herman’s no fool, and he hasn’t made it easy...

    Had a great time! There were 6 of us with it being the first experience for two of us. There were subtle clues and it really required us to scratch our heads (and put them together) to get out of Confinement. Looking forward to the next family adventure at Red Room San Mateo!

    Everybody who works here is so nice, especially our game master James. This was our first time doing an escape room and we had a blast! We picked "The Gift" and it was much harder than we anticipated. This was such a fun activity to do, it really would be a great team building exercise. The details in the room were so well done and the story was fun. We are already planning our next visit!

    Bishop was very helpful with our hints for The Gift, even giving us extra time when a part of our clues got unexpectedly stuck. It was a first time for all of us, so we really appreciate his help making it a great experience for us! We barely managed to escape, thank you!

    We had so much fun today. Diane was the game master today and nudged us in the right direction every time we needed. She was very clear with instructions and was a friendly host! Thanks for the awesome experience.

    We love escape rooms but are not the best and want to have a good time. Olga was amazing to help us along in our escape from the Fair so that we felt challenged but never completely stuck and we had a wonderful time. Also, thanks for showing us “The Game Show”! It looks super fun and we will be back!
