Coming here with my children today was like a blast from the past and it brought back so many memories. Castle Park has been a staple in my life since I was a small tot so seeing my own kids ride the same rides I enjoyed as a kid definitely made me a bit teary-eyed and was definitely worth the 1.5hr trip. Going on a weekday is your best choice; free parking and cheap tickets! There were no lines for any of the rides and every single staff member was very kind and courteous! I can say though that the park does need some TLC and several of the rides weren’t operational due to either refurbishment or low staffing. Would love to see some freshening up, even just touching up paint or taking out some weeds can make a big difference without costing a lot! However, I will say that for the price of $24.99 a person we were satisfied with the amount of entertainment me were able to find! Both my kids (2 and 10) had a great day! But it was sad that we paid admission for my 37 inch tall kid and most of the rides for her height were closed.

I used to consider Castles Park an affordable, family-friendly place for entertainment, but those days seem to be over. In the past, my family and I would visit often—especially during the summer, sometimes 2–3 times a week. We used to park outside the gate on the street if we didn’t want to pay for parking, then walk into the park. My wife and I only paid for our kids to play mini golf since we weren’t participating ourselves, which made it reasonably affordable for families. Now, things have changed. There are “No Parking” signs around the streets near the park, so that free parking option is gone. On top of that, everyone is now required to purchase an activity just to enter the park—even if they aren’t planning to play anything. That means parents who are only there to supervise their kids now have to pay as well. What’s even more frustrating is the condition of the mini golf courses. Not all of them are under construction, but several are not operational, limiting the overall experience. Despite this, pricing has increased significantly. I also noticed the park advertises online ticket purchases as discounted, but there doesn’t appear to be any actual savings—the prices are the same whether tickets are purchased online or at the gate. Because of these changes and rising costs, what used to be a regular family outing is no longer practical. Instead of visiting multiple times a week during the summer, we now only have Castles Park on our calendar once a month.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a fantastic day at Castle Park! Convenient parking, fun rides, great food, and an arcade that kept the kids entertained for hours. There's a great variety of attractions, making it easy for families with different ages and interests to find something they enjoy. The highlight of our visit was Hector, one of the ride operators. My autistic son was nervous about trying a ride for the first time, and Hector took the time to be patient, kind, and reassuring. He helped my son feel safe and comfortable instead of rushed or overwhelmed. What could have been a stressful or even traumatic experience became one of the best memories of our day. That kind of care and compassion makes a lasting difference for families like ours. Thank you, Hector, for going above and beyond. You made our day truly special.

We went yesterday 6/14/26. Paid $289 for 6 tickets and 1 parking pass. Arrived at opening time which was noon. Checking in was easy. Walking into the park was empty, only a few rides were open. It took them a good 2 hours to get most of the rides going. I've noticed 3 rides were unavailable for the day due to being shut down. People were more utilizing the buccaneers cove (splash pad) rather than the park It was nice having the park to ourselves. My kids got to go on rides multiple times with no lines. The only thing I will complain about is the bathroom is infested with mosquitos. Literally all over and in the bathroom stalls. Other than that it is a cheap way to keep the kids entertained.

Save your money please don't come here they will try and get every penny out of you during your visit. Purchased a bronze pass back in April for access to the park Monday through Friday. Thought it was for access to both parks at the time but I was solely for the ride park whose attractions are closed a majority of the time. Was previously a pass member and a lot has changed since then. Let's start with parking over the last month or so it has gone from 20 to 25 dollars they promote that if you purchase parking online you will get a 5 discount but when I tried it didn't work. On our family's first visit many old rides like the (octopus)spider ride, and screaming demon had been removed. In addition there are rides that have been closed indefinitely as far as I'm concerned because they have not been running the last few times we have visited castle park railroad, rockin' tug, and sea dragon. Areas where old rides used to be have been left empty or turned into a cheap picnic area with an old broken connect 4 game. They want you to come by and pay $25 for parking, $45 per person for ride admission, and another $25 per person for by water park access that's not including mini golf, arcade or food. They do not allow any outside food or drinks including water they want you purchase their overpriced foods. On top of that I have visited the water park on 2 separate occasions and the park got shut down twice during our visit. on my recent visit I witness a young boy take a tumble down the waterpark stairs. They shut off the water to inspect the stairs without water then continued operating the park after a brief inspection. Don't think this park will be around much longer. Be careful when purchasing passes and tickets when visiting the park lots of misleading information to get more money out of you. If you look at the passes it says exclusive pass holder perks under the bronze category and when you visit the know before you go of buccaneer cove it states pass holder perks include unlimited admission to buccaneer cove while pass is valid yet I had purchase additional access to the waterpark.
