Planetarium
Schreder Planetarium was founded by Jack Schreder in 1979. Jack was committed to bringing scientific, educational and informative programming to northern California.
Today we embark on a journey of bringing the fascination of astronomy and science to a greater audience. Schreder Planetarium is open for school fieldtrips weekly with reservation and public shows twice a month.
The planetarium is a beautiful 10-meter domed theater with 65 seats and a gift shop. Focusing on science education for schools and the community we are equipped with a digital projection system, our programs are diverse ranging from scientific documentaries to science fiction stories filled with science facts to cultural programs that include historical sky lore.
