Field of Light

Bruce Munro: Light at Sen­so­rio now fea­tures four instal­la­tions by inter­na­tion­al­ly acclaimed artist Bruce Munro. Field of Light is a multi-acre walk-through expe­rience, Munro’s largest art­work to date, which was recently refurbished and is now com­prised of 100,000 stemmed spheres lit by fiber optics. Our second instal­la­tion, Light Tow­ers fea­tur­es 69 tow­ers com­posed of more than 17,000 wine bot­tles glowing with optic fibers. We’ve recent­ly added two exhibits by Bruce Munro: Fireflies, a whim­si­cal work made up of close to 10,000 flick­er­ing points of light and Gone Fish­ing, a play­ful rep­re­sen­ta­tion of the con­tem­pla­tive act of stand­ing by a stream.
