  They say they check ids for people under 18, yet I’ve seen them let other young people in without checking on other days. For someone who states that they are very strict, they sure let a lot of people in without checking ids. I believe this is very unprofessional. Saw a clear preference towards certain ethnicity. Seemed to only id hispanics and african american people. Felt very profiled. DO NOT COME HERE.

  The Cinemark Baldwin Hills location primarily serves a diverse community, including many families of color who deserve accessible opportunities to enjoy the movie-going experience. While I understand the intent behind the curfew policy, it is disappointing that it applies only to immediate guardians and does not account for other responsible adult family members. Many parents work long or irregular shifts and may rely on an older sibling, aunt, uncle, or grandparent to accompany their children. It is unfair for children to be turned away simply because the accompanying adult is not their legal guardian. Cinemark should consider expanding the policy by allowing parents or guardians to complete an authorization form for another adult family member, extending the curfew to a more reasonable time, such as 8:00 p.m., or, at the very least, clearly notifying customers of the restriction before they purchase tickets. Beyond the policy itself, this theater is in poor condition. The auditorium often has unpleasant odors, torn seats, and staff who appear indifferent to the overall customer experience. I would encourage families to consider other theaters, and for movie lovers who value a quality cinema experience, I cannot recommend this location. It is especially disheartening to see policies that can disproportionately impact children in a community that should be welcomed and supported.

  I took my nieces to this theater to watch Spiderman for their Tuesday discount, but they wouldn’t let us in even though there were 3 adults and only 2 kids. They only offered a partial refund which resulted in me losing $10. We were not aware of this policy and only informed until we got there. Not only did I waste my time, but I lost money that could have been better spent at a different place.

  I went to try and watch the new spider man movie with my wife and some younger family. We were told after 5PM that minors under 18 cannot enter without a parent. Which is ridiculous 5PM is still daylight. I’m also above 21. The only positive reviews are from Biased Local Guides. Don’t waste your money. We also couldn’t get a full refund for the tickets we got because “service charges”
