  Haven't been here in a while but what happened to hiring people that have great customer service?? I was there Friday, August 21 with my kids and I asked my teen to get another popcorn. She asked about a popcorn bucket and the guy working was assuming she was going to buy it when she just asked a simple question. Well she thought if buying the bucket the popcorn comes with it? But he said no it was an extra charge. If he would have said that before taking the bucket out of the plastic then she wouldn't have asked. Anyway, she told me she didn't want to go there anymore because that guy gave her attitude and huffing and puffing. Oh and the others standing around are no help either just standing there yapping. The only person that was helpful was the guy at the register with the glasses...I don't think I'm going to be retuning here.

  Clean and well maintained theater with friendly staff. Didn't mind the outdated seating. Seats, flooring, and walls were still well maintained and good condition. And liked the nostalgic feeling that my kids were now experiencing it like I did in my younger years. Also, a big shout out to the manager who noticed that my youngest was having trouble staying in the theater and gave us two tickets after the show to try again someday. Thank you!!

  This is a good theater. The screen was a great size and the theater had a good layout with views. However the major down side was that the doors in the back opened right into the room so the entire movie the doors would open and would shine a lot of light into the room. It wouldnt effect the screen but it was massively distracting because it was bright.

From the moment you step into the lobby, the atmosphere sets the right tone. The ticketing process is always seamless, whether you’re scanning a digital ticket on your phone or grabbing one at the kiosk. The staff consistently keeps the lines moving quickly, greeting guests with a friendly, efficient attitude that gets you into your theater without unnecessary delays. The concession stand is another area where their consistency really shines. Movie theater popcorn can be hit or miss at some places, but here, it’s fresh, hot, and perfectly salted every time. You know exactly what you’re getting, and they deliver without fail. The projection is consistently sharp, bright, and aligned correctly on the screen, while the sound systems are calibrated perfectly—delivering deep, immersive bass and crisp dialogue without blowing out your eardrums. You don't have to worry about dim bulbs, smudged screens, or audio cutouts ruining the climax of a movie. Cleanliness is often where mid-sized theaters drop the ball, but Century Cinemark 14 stays on top of it. The aisles are swept between showings, the seats aren't sticky, and the restrooms are regularly maintained throughout the night.

  I’ll start off by saying I’m a Cinemark member that usually frequents the Arden, DOCO, and Greenback locations. I am at the movies at least twice a month so when I say this is the worst theater I’ve ever been toI mean it. I’ve had negative experiences here in the past as well but focusing on a few nights ago we came by to watch the new Spider-Man movie. Only one entrance door was unlocked and no one scanned our tickets which is fine but just a small detail. We make our way up to the concessions area and the employee informs us that all items are made to order so we order a cheese pizza and make our way through the line (also not necessarily an important detail but this area was super messy and dirty) we pay for our stuff and stand in the corner for a while until another female employee comes out and says here’s your pepperoni pizza, I tell her I’m sorry but we had ordered a cheese pizza and that unfortunately I can’t take the pepperoni one because I’m vegetarian. She slams (very hard) the pizza on the counter and walks away, this made me super uncomfortable I’m a very understanding person and was totally cool with just getting a refund. Her reaction was so huge and unnecessary and made me realize I’ll never be going back to that specific theater. All of this to say, they are severely understaffed and need a serious remodeling.
