  Like the theater with reserved seating and recliners. Concessions are extremely expensive and the popcorn has degraded in quality. Too many unpopped kernels and popcorn is frequently not very warm. Last visit I tossed the entire giant box.

  The theater screen is on the smaller side, but the D-BOX experience makes it worth it. I have watched a couple of movies here, and the motion seating really adds to the overall experience. Overall, it is a standard theater experience with no major disappointments.

  I drove 2 hours to watch a special event at this theater (a concert that was only playing once on 03/26 & 03/28) I bought my tickets in February when the event was announced and the showtime I was given was at 6pm. We showed up the day of and were told that the showtime was actually 3pm so we missed it. The manager apologized to us and said even though he didn't know how we were able to buy the tickets for a 6pm show that didn't exist he was willing to put it on a screen just for us later that night. This was a once-in-a-lifetime event that we were able to enjoy because the manager was willing and able to make it right. My two daughters and I will never forget and are so grateful for the experience!

  Cinemark Round Rock 14 is the kind of place that makes you realize regular movie seats have been lying to you your whole life, because once you try the DBOX seating, there is no going back. I went in expecting a normal movie night and instead got a full-body life experience, the seats move, vibrate, and throw you into the action so much that I briefly forgot I was just there to watch a film and not actually participate in it. It’s impressive in the most fun, slightly ridiculous way, like an amusement park ride disguised as a chair. The whole theater feels clean, modern, and well run, but the DBOX seats are absolutely the main character. Highly recommend if you want your movie experience upgraded from “watching” to “emotionally and physically committed to the plot.”

  We recently hosted a birthday party at this movie theater, and while the movie itself was great, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I want to thank the few staff members who did take time to help, especially the one who helped us navigate food allergies. I truly appreciated that care and effort. Unfortunately, that attention to detail was the exception, not the rule. Communication and support were extremely lacking from the start. We had to wait until just days before the event for movie times to be released for a film that was already playing! On the day of the party, our “dedicated party host” was present only at the very beginning to drop off concessions, and again at the end to collect payment. The rest of the time, we were left to figure things out ourselves. I shouldn’t have to chase down staff for basic information or support, especially when paying for a party package. Whenever I approached employees with questions, I was met with blank stares or curt, unhelpful responses, as though I was interrupting them even though that was our first interaction. To make matters worse, the extra table they brought in for us was stained and dirty, which didn’t make a good impression. Thankfully, the movie itself was great and the kids had fun, but without that, the experience would have been really disappointing. I hope the theater reconsiders how it handles birthday parties and communication in the future families deserve better organization and basic courtesy when hosting an event here. Also no “special birthday gift for honoree was included”. Two stars for the very helpful and professional guy who helped and another because it movie was great.
